Chapter 10

Kamryns P.O.V

Watching as Katirah goes into the bathroom I sit at the table and look at the book in front of me. Picking it up I open and turn through the pages randomly I flip to where there was a basically a content page showing all the different creatures or whatever you wanna call them. I look up and I see Karina sitting next to me with a small smile on her face.

"How are you holding up Kam?" She asks lightly.

Leaning back in the chair I sigh "I don't know doesn't all this seem like fairytale bullshit?" Looking at her I shake my head. "I've read books about these werewolves, witches, vampires, and a whole bunch of other beings and for someone to come in and say these are real and also hey my sisters and I are one. Like obviously I'm very hesitant and confused." I say and take a breath putting my head in my hands. I rub my temples.

Karina pulls my hands from my temples and I look up at her. She smiles at me slightly and nods. "I understand but think about it though. Maybe this is what we need to find out so we can remember, maybe we can find out who our parents are." She looks at me with a thoughtful look on her face.

Nodding I looked back at the book and we sat in silence for a minute or two just staring at it.

"Wanna read some of it?" Karina asks looking at me.

Nodding she moves closer to me and I pull the book to us and we flip through the pages randomly. Only reading bits and bobs from each section we skimmed thru and after about ten minutes I had to set the book down. My head was spinning from all that we have just read and I didn't know how to handle it.

Looking at Karina I raise a brow "Are you not at least the slightest bit skeptical about all of this?" I ask, nodding to the book.

Sighing she turns slightly to face me "Ofcourse I am but with everything going on you have to have some sort of inkling at least some of this is true." Looking to the bathroom door for a second she looks back at me. "You have to take in consideration what happened with Katirah as something. Then Blair saying she's a witch I mean I know we don't know her extremely well but she has no reason to lie to us." She looks at me with a small smile. "Just think of this one of your mystery books that you read that has a fairytale flair to it, also the plot twist being its actual life." She laughs slightly which causes me to smile. "No matter what you will always have Katirah and me we will always be by your side." She says this while looking at me and never looking away, I give her a small smile and hug her tightly.

"I know." I whisper to her as I hold on to her for just a little longer. Pulling away from her "Same goes for you and Katirah." I laugh lightly.

Before we could utter another word Katirah comes bursting out of the bathroom dressed and looking normal but excited.
