George had woken up to a light snickering, and when he opened his eyes and saw Nick sitting with his phone up, he knew that a video was being recorded. Clay was nestled into his side, sleeping with a happy look on his face. George had his arm around him, a hand placed lightly on his shoulder.

"Nice to know you two made up." Nick smiled, ending the video and pocketing his phone. "Shh. He's still sleeping you idiot." George said, adjusting himself a little bit. Nick smiled at the obvious affection being shown and shook his head.

"Just so you know, the fire station called, they finished their inspection and cleared the house so we can scavenge what's left. Once sleepy head wakes up we can head over." George nodded. But then something hit him. "My passport." He muttered.

"What?" Nick asked, turning back from the coffee maker in their room. "My passport. I can't go back home without it, what if it was burned up in the fire!?" George replied louder, and panicked.

"The upstairs isn't as bad as the kitchen. From what they told me an outlet was the cause of the fire, one of his appliances wasn't plugged in properly and it shorted. They were able to stop the fire before it got too out of hand so a lot of the upstairs furniture is barely scorched." Nick explained, going back to his coffee. George hoped that Nick was right, or else he would be stuck in the US for a hot minute.

But part of him also wanted it to be burned, that meant he could spend more time with Clay. He didn't want to leave, not now, and not in 3 days.

"Its more likely my stuff is burned up since my room is on the first floor. I just hope my wallet survived. I don't want my mom to come pick me up."

"True. We'll see when we get there, I just hope the house is salvageable for his sake. Even if he is stuck at his parents for a couple weeks."

Clay was stirring now, due to the chatter between his friends. Georges eyes widened a bit, he felt bad for waking him up, but they had slept in for a little longer than they planned. It was 11 AM and George was surprised they even slept that long in the first place.

Clay looked around, he seemed lost at first and it took a moment to hit him. He was next to George in his bed. Then he remembered last night. George never left, he was still there. George was looking down, he had a small smile and his thumb was gently rubbing over Clays shoulder.

"Good morning." George said quietly. Clay smiled and signed a good morning back, purely out of habit, but George had absolutely no clue what he actually said. "What does that mean?" George asked looking confused.

"What does what mean?" Nick asked turning around with his coffee mug. Clay did the same motions again, bringing his hand from his chin and then bringing his other arm up. "Just good morning." Nick interpreted, taking a swig of his drink.

"You should really learn sign language, I think it would be beneficial." Nick added, leaning back onto the small counter that held appliances provided by the hotel. "Ok well Dream never agreed to video calls so what was the point up until now?" George argued. In all honesty he was just lazy, and he didn't ever take the time to focus on it.

"Well you could have bothered to at least learn some of the basics once you figured out you were visiting. We all know that he barely says anything around you, you could have started to learn a few signs at least." Nick argued. Clay was just looking back and forth between the two, when he really didn't mind that George didn't know sign language. He had a phone, he could type things out.

"Well maybe I'll learn some basics, but I think you fare well enough as an interpreter for right now don't you Sapnap." George seemed a little bit more aggressive now. As well as he and Nick could get along, they also butted heads on a daily, arguing about the stupidest things.
