the truth

y/n POV:
"you kissed her!" ron said standing infornt of me and harry "no i didnt! she kissed me!" harry said looking at me pointing "is it true? you kissed him?!" ron said, i opened my mouth to speak but no words came out, i tried again...but i couldnt speak, it was like someone had took my ability to speak, "well it is true then!" ron said looking over at me "i hate you!" ron said walking away

i sat up breathing heavily, i was all sweaty "no, ron, i didnt mean to, please ron!" i kept repeating,       "y/n?" a voice said next to me, "you okay?" it was skylar, she sat up with me and rubbed my back "yeah, yeah...just a bad dream" i said trying to calm down. i looked at the clock, it showed 4:27 am. i figured i would get as much sleep as possible since everyone usually wakes up at 7:00, "wake me up if you have another dream" skylar said closing her eyes as she drifted off to sleep, i laid back down and closed my eyes and soon, i fell asleep.

i woke up at around 7:30 and took a quick shower. i slipped on jeans and a shirt ron had got me for christmas a couple years back, it was a shirt of my favorite muggle boy band. i brushed out my hair and put it into two braids.

as i left the room i reminded myself about last nights run in with harry and decided it was best just to avoid him. i was walking down the stairs when the twins stopped me "morning" fred said smiling as they stood in front of me, "we just wanted to say sorry, about last night and everything that happened" george said looking at me with guilty, "aw, guys its okay, really! its just a silly game" i said smiling at them. they kept looking at me just standing there "is there anything else you needed...?" i asked them "oh yes" fred said as both him and george looked over at ron, who was eyeing us down, "we want to help you get him back!" george whisper yelled "no no no no, i am not letting you guys help me with my love life!" i whisper yelled back  "come on! it will be fun! please?" fred said giving me puppy dog eyes "nice try, but no, and thats final!" i said they both groaned in disappointment "fineee" they complained "have a nice day y/n!" they both said as they gave me a friendly kiss on the cheek "bye boys." i said rolling my eyes laughing.

Rons POV:
i saw y/n come down stairs when the twins stopped her, they looked as if they were talking about something secretive, and then they looked at me, it caught me off guard a little bit, including the fact i was basically eyeing them down, "nice try, but no, and thats final!" i heard y/n say as they both groaned in disappointment. they both gave her a kiss on the cheek and left, im not sure why but seeing the twins kissing her made me jealous, even if it was friendly. i couldnt really do anything about it though, afterall she wasnt my girlfriend anymore.

y/n POV:
i walked downstairs and sat across the table from ron, he gave me a friendly smile and began to eat his food, i tried to avoid eye contact with harry most of breakfast but it was kinda of hard considering the fact that he was sitting next to ron so whenever i would look up from my plate, i would see him, we would look at each other every once in a while but one of us would quickly look away.

everyone had been talking except for me and harry, thank merlin no one had noticed because that would be very suspicious, "so what are your guys plans for today?" ginny asked, no one answered so i thought i would answer "well i-" "well i dont-" i cut myself off as i noticed me and harry and been talking at the same time

"um-"
it was an awkward silence for a while "you go" i finally said looking down at my plate as my face turned red, "oh...well i didnt have plans so i was just gonna read a book or something..." harry said keeping his eye contact at his plate "okay...?" ron said. i decided not to speak so i didnt get asked any weird questions

Rons POV:
i noticed harry and y/n hadn't been talking all breakfast, i opened my mouth to ask y/n a question but ginny beat me to it, "so what are your guys plans for today?" no one had answered until y/n and harry both opened their mouth "well i-" "well i dont-",  y/n and harry talked at the same time and they both froze

"er-"
"um-"
is all they managed to get out, it was an awkward silence for a while until y/n had finally spoke up "you go" she looked down at her plate with her face red, i looked at harry who had also kept his eyes on his plate with a red face "oh...well i didnt have any plans so i was just gonna read a book or something..." harry had said, i knew something was wrong because harry only reads when he was nervous "okay...?" i said looking back and fourth between them.

after breakfast y/n headed upstairs and harry followed looking very nervous i stayed downstairs and figured i would just wait till they came down.

y/n POV:
i headed upstairs and noticed harry had followed, i hoped he wasnt following me but just going upstairs, i opened the door to the attic and started to walk in until harry grabbed my wrist and pulled me to rons room, his hand was sweaty and warm, and he seemed very nervous, i knew what he was going to talk about, and i didnt want to talk about it.

we got inside and he shut the door, "we really need to talk" he said sitting down on the bed, i sat on the opposite side of the bed and waited for him to talk "y/n...im very sorry about last night, i wasnt thinking. it was in the heat of the moment and i guess i just thought you were ginny. honestly, im rons best friend, and your his ex i really didnt mean anything. i dont like you! wait that came out wrong,
i like you, but as a friend, i dont fancy-" i cut him off "harry, like i said last night, its fine! really! it didnt mean anything, you thought i was ginny, we didnt even kiss so really its fine!" i said "right, thanks y/n" he said pulling me in for a hug "can we go back to being just, normal friends?" he asked "sure! just one thing..." i said trailing off "hm?" he asked "i uh... i think i should tell ron, and i think you should tell ginny" i said looking at him guilty "what?! have you gone mad? ginny will kill me!" harry said standing up "yeah, but if you talk to her and explain how you thought i were her...maybe she'll understand...?" i said "fine" he said as the someone opened the door

rons POV:
it had been about ten minutes and i couldnt wait any longer, they were acting weird all morning and i decided that i would just go up there to see what they were doing, i got up from the couch and  walked upstairs, i went to the attic but they weren't, there i figured that the only other place they would be was my room since harry shared it with me for the summer, as i approached the door i could hear harry say "fine." i opened the door and saw that they were talking "oh uh hi" i said looking at them.

y/n POV:
someone opened the door and i noticed it was ron, "oh uh hi" he said looking at us, there was an awkward silence, i didnt know what to say as i was thinking of what to say, i was very nervous to tell ron, but i figured i shouldnt be nervous since we weren't together anymore, "i'll leave you two alone" harry said heading to the door "hey harry" i said as he turned around "talk to ginny." i said as he gave me a nervous smile and walked out shutting the door

"what was that about?" ron asked sitting were harry had sat, "oh uh, well hes gonna talk to ginny" i said laughing nervously "about what?" he asked "well thats what i wanted to talk to you about..." i said trailing off "so, uh last night-", he cut me off "oh your bad dream? yeah skylar told me" he said "well yeah but uh before that..." i began "i had woke up around 2 in the morning and needed to go restroom so i went to the restroom...well when i was washing my hands harry had came in, and we were talking and then, he almost kissed me-" i was cut off by him again "he kissed you?!" he asked standing up "no! he almost kissed me but i stopped him! he said he thought i was ginny, ron!" standing up "yeah but he still tried to!" he said "yeah but ron he thought i was ginny! he said it didnt mean anything!" i said stepping closer to him, he looked away from me. "why does it even matter..." i asked "what?" he asked "why does it even matter? we arent dating! i mean..." i began "what if we had kissed?" i asked, he looked at me.

"why would it even matter? we aren't together anymore" i asked as i took a step closer "it just does" he said through gritted teeth "but why-"
he cut me off "because i still love you!" he said raising his voice, "i didnt want to tell you i still loved you because i thought you moved on-" "i love you ron" i said cutting him off.

he looked into my eyes and shook his head and smirked, he ran over to me and picked me up kissing me, his lips were soft and the kiss was passionate, as were all of the other ones, but this kiss felt like it lasted hours. he kept kissing me as he took off my shirt, and i started to unbutton his.

A/N hey guys :) i know i said this chapter would be out earlier today but i was too tired last night to write because it was 2am, i woke up early this morning and i started to write during the afternoon, but i was so tired that i took a nap in the middle of writing, ive finally finished and im very happy. but anyways yeah, just wanted to say sorry lol. anyways hope you liked this chapter. love youuu <3
