Cammie didn't say much after that. It was quiet on the way home. Well I say home, we are stopping by my house to pack a bag, then she is going to let me spend a couple days at her house. Apparently she texted her dad earlier, and he said he didn't mind, "Violet is like another daughter to me" as he worded it.

A little while later we pulled up. My mother's car was in the driveway and I huffed a sigh. Not wanting to deal with her tonight, matter of fact, not ever.

Cammie grabbed my hand and squeezed lightly giving me a reassuring smile. I gave a light one back before huffing again, deciding I had to get out at one time or another.

Thank the heavens that damn women was passed out on the couch, so I didn't have to listen to her.

I rushed up to my room and grabbed a couple of big suitcases. Ok so I might've lied a little. I'm staying with Cammie until I turn 18, and get my own place.

43 days to go till I turn 18. Yay!....

I packed a bunch, well what I had, of shirts and pants. I grabbed a couple pairs of shoes, and some small essentials ; girl stuff, by bathing stuff, brush, pony tails, and of course the little polar bear that Mel somehow got me for Christmas last year. I grabbed a couple of odd and end things that were important, making sure I got everything that had a real value to me. I grabbed the small stack of cash hidden in the hole on the underside of my mattress also. I tried to put a small amount of money back anytime I was actually able, which was very rarely, it wasn't much. Only about 60 bucks.

I grabbed one suitcase and Cammie grabbed the other, and we went out and packed them into the car. So long mother....I thought. I hope to never see her again. That might sound very cruel, but you don't live with her. You don't see what she's done to us. She has never been there for us, and we would be dead, including her, if it wasn't for me buying groceries and even attempting to keep the water and heat on. And even though I might be sad if that piece of shit dies, she was still a good for nothing, money wasting, heartless, alcoholic bitch.

I looked back at the house and sighed, before getting in the car, and leaving that home and my mother, hoping to never look back. I might go by there once or twice sometime when my mother isn't there, to get anything I might've left, but that's it.

I drove t Cammie's place in silent till we pulled up.

"Hey" she whispered softly.

I turned to look at her.

"Hm?.."

"I know this is going to be a rough few weeks, and I want you to know that I'm here for you. Day or night. You can talk to me, cry on me, yell at me, I don't care. I'm here for you"

I smiled but it didn't quite reach my eyes.

"Thanks Cam, you know that means a lot..."

She smiled at me before gripping my hands lightly and patting them before getting out.

We carried out bags to the door, and no one seemed to be home right now.

We hauled them upstairs to her room, and I sat down on her bed for just a minute. I felt bad for invading their home like this. It wasn't there job to take care of me. I was almost 18, and needed to learn my own way around things, without trying to have help.

"You can take a shower if you want?"

"Oh ok, thanks."

"Yea, and I'm going to order a pizza. Anything particular?"

"Anything but supreme, pineapple, mushrooms, olives, or spinage" I chuckled and so did she.

"I'm fine with a simple ham or cheese, so it doesn't matter" I shrugged

"Alrighty then" she left skipping down the stairs.

She had a bathroom connected to her room, so I just went through my bag to find some undergarments, before walking to the bathroom. I began to get undressed and saw how awful my body looked. You could see my ribs and sternum. My stomach was lightly caved into my ribs. My cheeks were also slightly hollow, but it just looked like I had prominent cheek bones. I needed to gain quite a few pounds before I started at the club or I'd be looked at with disgust. I mean I have my moments, but I'm still pretty shy. I had a really nice body though....when I had some meat on my bones that is.

I decided against thinking too long, and started me a hot shower. I made sure the water was hot, before stepping in. It felt so relaxing. I felt slightly replenished. I washed my thick hair deeply, with shampoo and a lot of conditioner. Then moving to wash my body with a cherry blossom scented body wash. Now the room smelled of fresh cherry blossoms. The shampoo and conditioner were the same. My body and the room now smelled so lovely. I was beginning to think that I'm lucky I remembered to turn the fan on before I got in, so the steam wouldn't suffocate me when I got out. I stayed under the hot water for another 10 minutes, just taking in the feeling.

I got out feeling completely refreshed. I dried off, and sat down on the toilet for just a minute to cool off. I put on my undergarments. I have to get some new lingerie.... I then put on a loose tank top and a pair of shorts, before leaving to go downstairs. I looked in the kitchen, dining room, and then finally the living room, finding Cam sitting on the couch scrolling through Netflix. There was 2 boxes of pizza, what looked like a thing of breadsticks, and 2 two liter bottles of Dr. Pepper, my bestie knows me so well I thought.

She saw me come in and smiled. I sat down and saw that there were plates and cup on top of the boxes also.

"Help yourself, what do you wanna watch?"

"Wanna catch up on The Vampire Diaries?"

She showed me a Cheshire grin before scrolling right to it, and clicking on it. Season 4, Ep 1. Where Elena wakes up a vampire, after Rebecka ran her and Matt off the rode. When Stephan came to the rescue, and told him to save Matt first. But since Dr. Fell had given her vampire blood previously, and then she drowned. Resulting in her becoming a vampire when she awoke.

Anyways lol. We both got a plate with 2 pieces of pizza and 1 breadstick. I poured a cup of Dr. P and leaned back to eat. We watched 4 episodes of the TVD, while I ended up eating 4 pizza slices, 2 breadsticks, and 2 cups of Dr. P. I was honestly a little embarrassed of my appetite, but Cammie didn't blink an eye at it. I guess she knew I didn't have very much food, and that I didn't get this often. I was starting to get really sleepy though.

As we yawned at the same time we looked at each other and laughed a little.

"Why don't we head on up to bed?"

"Yea that sounds good to me. I'm exhausted."

Somehow time had gotten away from us, and it was now almost 9:30. Bed was probably the best option anyways.

We got in bed and I sighed. She had the most comfortable bed. It was a queen sized memory foam mattress, with an extra foam pad on it.

It was no time before I had fallen asleep. Dreaming of what my life is turning into, and what it will become later on.
