Maybe it had been the brief sensation of near-death that had brought it about.
Or maybe it was the image of Izuku growing annoyed with attempting to remove the uncooperative metal binding cuff he had slapped onto her and simply tearing the hinge clean off with his bare hands.
In either case, Rumi's instincts were roaring in the back of her mind, urging her to just... flop onto him. Again.
Thinking about it, maybe it had been him pushing her off of his frame so fast after the battle had ended. Neither her body nor her instincts cared about the reasons he had, both just wanted her to remain on top of the surprisingly comfortable slab of muscle that was his chest.
Her ears twitched, almost forgetting where she was, helping the invisible girl she had managed to hit with that hail-mary kick. She had developed a healthy amount of respect for the woman when she realized that the invisible girl had been fighting naked and still managed to get her to falter for long enough for Izuku to get her KO'ed. That took serious guts and even more tenacity considering how hard that shot must've hit the young adult.
"Izuku! Your arms are so comfy~" Prism cooed, Rumi only seeing the slight distortions on Izuku's chest and biceps to understand the woman was snuggling to the man's arms as he princess-carried her out of the field.
Miruko was never one for envy, but she did feel something prickle in the back of her head that might've been close to it. Though that was buried under the layers of instinct-driven lust and the expected after-battle high she got, deep enough to not even register if she wasn't so reflective at the moment.
"Uh, Rumi, can you grab the other gauntlet I- kinda shot at you at the end?"
"Oh, the one you used for the 'rocket punch' thing you did?" Miruko teased, hitting his thigh with her hip.
Izuku rumbled with a chuckle that had her body shuddering with excitement. "Don't give Mei ideas, I'd prefer not having actual rocket propellant attached to my arms."
"Would be super cool though~" Prism added, a little woozily. Adrenaline wearing off probably left her more than a little inebriated. Rumi could relate. "Wonder if you could fly with it!"
That earned another body tingling chuckle from Izuku. Miruko lugged the heavy gauntlet off the floor as the trio made their way off the combat zone and towards the waiting bus.
God, she had it bad.

"Did that just... happen?" Mic muttered, for once in her entire life at a loss for words.
Nemuri let out the breath she was holding, leaning back to her chair with a satisfied sigh. "Now, that was a show."
Snipe cackled, adjusting her hat. "You sure you weren't envious of not being the one getting choked, Kayama?"
Nemuri smiled coyly, way too satisfied with what she had watched Izuku do to let the comment get to her in any aspect. "I can share, Snipe. Didn't you learn that in kindergarten? Or does America not have those?"
For a second, the American froze, then burst out laughing. "You really went there huh?"
Nemuri gave a slight shrug. "I have no reason to give you the satisfaction, now do I?"
"Can you keep it in your pants, Nemuri?" Aizawa huffed, rubbing her temples slowly. "Don't make a joke about not owning any, again. I can only take so much."
Nozomi chuckled slowly, looking at the staff from the corner of her eye. Sadistic or not, she enjoyed how they got along. "Should we inform Miss Usagiyama that her limiter was offline since..."
