"Im sorry"

Devon's P.O.V

This was the beginning of my worst nightmare and nothing seemed to wake me up

I woke up all of a sudden when I reached for the person who I thought was beside just to find out they were no longer there I felt the cold empty space and started to reminisce on last nights events her lips, her body her light touch I smiled to my self as I touched my lips

I groaned out loud as the sun light hit my eyes I sat up I felt something poke me

It was a piece of paper

"Sorry I had to go but I'll call you later - Eva"

"Mystery girl" I whispers as I gently traced the edges of the sharp paper carful not to cut my self

I got out of bed and walked slowly inside the bathroom

I opened the medicine cabinet before looking in the mirror this time and quickly took the pills out

I placed them down on the sink and closed the cabinet door to look myself I the mirror I instantly looked at my neck

"Oh my god" I said touching the blue purplish marks

"No no no no fuck" I said as I kept finding more

"What I'm i going to do its not even cold enough for turtle necks" I said

I quickly ran into my closet to see what Can I put together my morning routine was long gone now

I searched and searched then I finally found something that looked like it could get me through the day

I pulled the long sleeve back button down shirt and some red skinnies for work

Satisfied with my choice I walked back into the bathroom and took a shower

(Twenty minutes later)

I was in the kitchen gulping down the pills and ready to head to work I check to see if I had everything walking out the front door locking it behind me

I put my helmet on and got on my motorcycle I sped down the street and hit a right traffic was ok this morning as it's usually always hectic
When I was approaching the bar I noticed Holly's car that only means one thing Jessie was already there

I parked in front like I always did I like to keep an eye on my baby and its a clear view from here to the bar area

I took my helmet and gloves off and walked inside

"So I told him if he took all 7 shots under 10 seconds which I knew he couldn't because he was pretty much done that all the drinks were on me" Jessie said in between laughs but quickly standing up as she saw me

"Good Morning" I said walking towards the back like I always do

"Morning" both of them said In Unison

I walked to the back and put my things down I took an apron and wrapped it around my waist

I walked back out

"Is there anything else to be done" I asked knowing Jessie already did it all

"No just some inventory for Pete and that's all" she said

"Ok I'm on it" I said

I grabbed the note pad that was already laying on top of the counter and started inventory

From the corner of my eye I can see holly pointing at me then pointing at her neck Jessie quickly looked

"Um is there more peach siroc in the back" I said making her look away quickly
