It's been a couple weeks since that night At Eva's I tell you this much although the sex was great I was still conflicted by what jess said to me I mean Eva really is a mystery I know nothing about her then again she always seems to draw me in.

"Look at her daydreaming" said holly bringing me out of my thoughts hitting me with a jelly bean

"whats this daydreaming you speak of " I asked catching it and throwing it back at her

"I'm speaking about you chump" she said hopping off the bar counter

"Thank you I really do appreciate your assets all over my counter" I said wiping down the spot she was just sitting on

"Oh shut up you're just mad you can't touch it" she said smacking her own ass

"In your dreams goldilocks" I hissed rolling my eyes

She walked towards Jessie who was sitting up on the stage they immediately started talking about something. Im not one to eavesdrop but I couldn't help not listening in

"Island records No way what did you say" holly squealed in excitement

"Holly lower your voice I don't want to jinx it and anyways its just a meeting" said Jessie

There was nobody in the bar so I don't know why Jessie is so concerned about someone listening to her and Holly's conversation unless she talking about me oh maybe she is.

I look at them and walk out of the bar area towards them

I grab a chair turn it towards them sitting down

"Can we help you" said holly in a nonchalant way leaning back on her chair

"Not really I'm bored so entertain me" I said

Jessie rolled her eyes and took a deep breath

I felt kinda unwelcome so I got the message and stood up and walked towards the front door

"Hey where you going I thought you wanted a show" yelled holly

"i changed my mind" i said letting the door close behind me

I took a deep breath and exhaled once i stood on the not so busy side walk. i pulled my phone out from my back pocket as it vibrated

I unlocked it and a new notification from Instagram showed up

*Holly tag you in a picture* i clicked on the app. It was an off guard picture of Jessie and I the night of her gig. You'd think we're a couple of how close we were she was smiling looking up at me while my eyes where shut while i laughed at something.

I smiled to my self i mean gosh we do look good together. as those words lingerd in my thoughts my phone rang

shit shit shit shit shit.... I felt like I was just caught cheating or something

"hello" i said

"hey baby" she whispered

"why are you whispering" i asked laughing

"oh nothing I'm at a meeting so i kinda walked off to call you" she said whispering again which made it harder for me to understand what she was saying.

"a meeting? what about" i asked trying to get more details of what she's been up to today I mean I would have asked her from the get go but I always get the same "oh you know same old same old " answer and thats the problem i don't know what same old thing is that she does.
