1st of January 20**
Standing here, by city streets
On this New Year's Eve
Where I can see a lot of smoke
And hear Firecrackers scream
I admit, that was quite a show
But made me wonder after all
How come, people can take using those?
When deadly noise and air pollution comes along
Now that thought triggers some
Made me think back all those years gone
And let it sink deep into my bones
Since another year has come
Aside from the happenings in life
Something also comes in mind
Like how the earth had become
And the worst environmental problems to come
...
Now I regret doing
It only made me sad thinking
Thinking that the world,
Especially for the future, will be much worst
What will be left?
When the once beautiful called nature is already gone and destroyed
Just because of this cycle of human insanity,
Insanity that will destroy us all.
...
Now here I am, by my City's street
On this New Year's Eve
Where I can see
One of those insanities.
