•One Week Later•
"Guys, do you know that school starts in only two days?" Vanessa asks sounding defeated. We're sitting on May's bed in her room. "Ugh yeah, sadly I do know that." May groans, "How about you just kill me now...I would much rather die then go back to that hell hole," Jess says while rolling off the bed and landing on the floor with a *thump*. "Ow," she mumbles while I giggle.
"At least this is our last year in that shit hole," I say trying to lift their spirits, beacsue they were just making me feel depressed. "Very true, very very true," agrees Vanessa as Jess crawls back onto the bed, "yeah but I don't want to go" she whines like a three year old. "Shut up!" commands May, "whining about it will only make it worse." "But-,"
"May do you have any food in this house, I'm hungry?" I cut Jess off before they get in a fight. "Umm yeah I'll go look for something, give me a few minutes," she says as she walks out of the room.
"I'm honestly not having any problem with going back to school," I stat, and it true , I just choose not to care and I'm just gonna try and get through it with as little drama and stress as possible .
"Can we talk about something that's not gonna give me anxiety, please?" asks Vanessa, "Yes, I am so sick of all this school talk," Jess says.
"Did you guys here about the new Avengers movie!?!!" I ask excitedly. "Yes, I am so excited to see it, it's gonna be so good!" Vanessa shrieks as May walks back into the room, holding a bowl full of pretzels.
"Sorry, we didn't really have anything else," she apologizes, "no its fine, its perfect, just what I wanted," I reassure her, "Mk, coolio." She says sitting back on the bed and setting the bowl in between all of us. "Yay!" "Food!" Jess and Vanessa say, each grabbing a hand full of the pretzels.
"I really need to redye my hair," I say to anyone who might be listening, "yea you do, its starting to fade and your roots are beginning to show," Vanessa acknowledges. "Gee, thanks for the suppot," I say sarcastically, "Hey your the one that brought it up!" Vanessa exclaims defending herself. "Yea I know I was just kidding," I say "but I guess I did ask for it, sorry." "No problem, its fine."
We continue to talk about whatever comes to mind. We talk, goof off, and just hang out for a while until Jess has to leave, because its her moms birthday.
"I suppose I should get going too," I say, "yea me too," Vanessa say's. "See you later May!" I call as we walk out of her room, "bye!" She calls after us as we walk out to our vehicles and drive off in different directions.
When I get home, I go down to my room, which is down in the basment, so that means that I have the whole basement to myself and that's a thing that makes me happy. Its about 5:30 in the afternoon so I go up stairs and eat some cereal for supper.
After my cereal, I go take a shower, then watch some Netflix, read some fanfics, amd watch YouTube, you know the usual system, just waisting hours of my life away, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I text Seth a little bit before I snuggle into my soft fluffy sheets and fall asleep.
