Third Person P.O.V.

                Ashton crouches behind a wall. The simulation is like the situation from the other day. Except this time she doesn't have a gun. There are sim people shooting at her. The simulation uses a combination of holographs, drones, and nanotech. Natalia watches Ashton closely. Clint and Hill are talking about the mission that lead them hear today. Fury is standing silently, waiting for ashton to make her move. Ashton sits there gathering herself. If it's a show Fury wants, She'll give it to him. She took a deep breath. Then she flipped over the wall and stood in front of it. Flames started at her wrists and moved up her arms. She pulled water from the water fountain somewhare in the room. She built it up behind her. She made a hard sheild of air in front of her, stoping the sim bullets. Everyone was watching her intently now. Her control and power was incredible. She cracked the floor and pulled pieces into the water. She was fully engulfed in flames at this point. She took in a deep breath. There was a slight pause in the movement of the elements. When she let go of the breath she was holding, She hurled everything forward. The water parted around her and shot forward along with the flames. They engulfed the drones, nano's and the projectors. Everything broke. When she was done, She sent the water back into the fountain and fixed the pieces in the floor. However, She didn't fix the drones or progectors. An engineer would have to do that. She raised off the ground an flew infront of the observation window. What she saw made her laugh. The others were looking at her with shocked and incredulous expressions. She pulled the wido apart and landed in the observation room. The others jumped back at the cracking noise. When she was done, she put it back together as if it didn't happen.

Ashton's P.O.V.

                 "Are you guys okay?" I ask them. They all were looking at me incredilously. Clint was the first to recover. "That was EPIC!" He exclaims. He smiles. "Thank you." I say with a smile of my own. "Well, I'm glad your on ourside now, Ashton." Fury says. I chuckle. "Glad to be here." I say. He nods and leaves. Clint and Hill are right behind him. That just leaves Natalia and I alone in the room. Suddenly, I'm nervous. I look at her warily to find her looking at the floor. Oh no. "I didn't scare you, did I?" I ask her hesitantly. She looks up at me with an eyebrow raised. "You think that scared me.?" She says with a small smirk. Confused, I nod. She scoffs and shakes her head. She comes towards me and places her hands on my shoulders. "Listen here, Ashton. I spent a decade missing you. Now that I have you back, It's going to tkae more than that to scare me away." She says. That makes me wrap my arms around her and pull her close. She wraps her arms around me too. We stay like that until we hear someone clear their throat. We pull apart. "I'm not interupting something, am I?" Clint asks from the door way with a knowing smile. I decide right then that he is going to be my bestfriend. "No." Natalia and I say at the same time. "Okay good. Ashton, Fury wants to talk to you in his office. You remember where it is right?" He asks. I nod my head. I look back at Natalia before I leave. I head to Fury's office wondering what he wants now.

Natasha's P.O.V

                I watch Ashton leave and prepare for the questions from Clint. He stands next to me. "So, Are you guys together again?" He asks. I look at him. "It's not that simple. We decided to take things slow and see where this takes us." I tell him. He nods. "Makes sense. You deseve to be happy. I think fate brought her back into your life for a reason." He says, Making me scoff. "You and fate. I swear, if you go on anothr rant about fate and destiny, I'm calling Laura." I say. He mocks offended. "Wow. I feel the love, Natasha." He says. I laugh. He is one of the only people who can make me laugh. His humor is different from Tony Starks, Whose makes me want to punch him in the face. He's not a bad guy. I think he needs some sense knocked into him every once in a while. Thank god for Pepper Potts. "But seriously though. See where this goes. I can tell she makes you happy. In a little over 48 hours of her being here, You have a spark behind your eyes. And you've been smiling like an idiot." he says. I punch him in the arm for that. "Ow!" He shouts. I laugh heading out of the room. I'm going to go tkae a shower and get something to eat. But that changes when I see Ashton standing if front of my apartment with a file in her hands.

Ashton's P.O.V

               When I get to Fury's office, the door is open so I just head in. He looks up at me when I enter. " Have a seat." He motions to the chair in front of his desk. I move to sit down. I look at him waiting for him to talk. He just studies me. "When we found you, We were just going to extract information and kill you. But plans changed. Because of agent Romanoff. She asked me for the chance to rehabilitate you." He says. I nod because I had heard a part of that conversation. He leans forward on his desk. "I don't know a whole lot of your history together. But I know the gist of it." He says. I think I know where this is going. "I have known agent Romanoff for a while now. And, against my better judgement, have come to care for her. Since you have been here, I have noticed some changes in her. Good ones, yes. I know better than to warn her about jumping into this to fast. I know she can handle herself." He says. My leg starts to bounce. This is the first time I have ever had this kind of talk. He removes his eyepatch so I can see his other eye. I gulp. "But If you hurt her Ashton, I have resources. And I will find you. And I'll break your knee caps. I don't care that your a woman." He says. At this, I relax and smile. He looks at me confused. "Why are you smiling?" he asks me. "I think we both know that Natalia would have broken my knee caps long before you, sir." I say. With this, He leans back and smiles. "I like you already, kid." He says. He reaches for a file on his desk. He opens it. "You, Romanoff, and barton are going on a mission. Barton already knows the details. I want you to take this file and go over it with Romanoff." He says, handing me the file. I stand up, and so does he. I shake his hand. "I will not disappoint you sir." I say. He just nods. I leave his office and head to the apartments. I get in the elevator and lean against the wall and scan through the file. Terrorist oganization in the middle east. The target was a high ranking member. We were to stop him from selling a nuke. So we were to snatch the nuke and eliminate the target. The elevator doors open and I close the file, stepping out. I head to Natalia's apartment and knock on the door. She doesn't aswer so I head to my apartment. I stop when I hear the elevator. Natasha steps out. She seems suprised to see me. Then she notices the file in my hands. She opens the door to her apartment. We sit on the couch going over the file. Clint shows up at somepoint with pizza and we eat while we plan. The mission should be easy enough. I mean, What could go wrong in budapest?
