1:5 Aliens Everywhere

Ashton's P.O.V

                   After we all suit up, we head to the hangar. A young engineer is working on the quinjet we were going to take. He startles when he sees us. "Your not allowed to be here." He says. Captain raises his hand. "Son, just don't" He tells him. The guy runs out of the hangar and we all enter the jet. Clint and Natasha go to the front while Cap and I go to look at the screens. "Are you ready?" He asks me. I look at him and raise an eyebrow. "Are you?" I reply. He chuckles and straps his shield to his arm. I sit down in on of the seats lining the walls. I pull out one of my swords and start to wipe it down. He looks at me. "Why are you cleaning them just for them to get dirty?" He asks. The jet is completely fired up and we start to fly. "It helps." I said. We fly for a few more moments before I start to get antsy. "Nat, open the ramp please. I want to fly ahead with Tony." I ask upfront. The ramp opens. " Be careful." She tells me. "Always am." I holler as I jump out. I free fall for a moment before I fly past the jet. I fly faster than it. Pretty soon, I catch up to Tony. "Hey kid." I here Him tell me. "Hey. They aren't that far behind. What's the plan for when we arrive?" I ask him. "I need to change suits. But it will take a minute. Just follow my lead when we get there." He tells me. I chuckle. Only Tony would go against a god without a solid plan.
                   We arrive at the tower and land on the upper balcony. Loki is pacing back and forth but stops when he notices us. Tony's machine remove his suit as he heads to the bar. "please tell me you are going to appeal to my humanity." Loki says. "Uh, actually, we plan to threaten you." Tony says. I hop up onto a bar stool. "You should have left your armor on for that, like her." Loki says, pointing his scepter at me. "Yeah, but it has seen a bit of mileage. And you got the blue stick of destiny." Tony says. I chuckle. Tony looks at me. "Would you like a drink?" he asks. I nod my head. He turns to Loki. "Would you like a drink." he asks him. "Stalling me won't change anything." Loki says. "No no, threatening." I tell him. He looks confused now. "No drink, are you sure?" Tony asks him. "We're having one" I finish. Loki walks over to the window. "The chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" He asks. I look to Tony. "The Avengers." He tells Loki. Loki looks at us, puzzled. "It's what we call ourselves. Sort of like a team. Earths mightiest heroes, that sort of thing" I explain. "Ah yes. I've met them." He says. Tony chuckles. "Takes us a while to get any traction. I'll give you that much. But lets do a head count here. Your brother, the demigod. A super soldier, a living legend who kid of lives up to the legend." He begins. I see him put a bracelet on. He gestures to me. "A woman who can turn into a giant chymera with power over the elements." He says. Loki tilts his head at me. Tony continues. "A man with breathtaking anger management issues. A couple master assassins, And you, big fella, managed to piss off every single one of them." He finishes. Loki chuckles. "That was the plan." He says. I shake my head. "Not a good plan if you ask me." I said. "Well, I didn't did I?" he asks. "No. But you came to my home, threatened those that I love, and expected that we would just roll over. Well, I'm here to tell you that that is not the case." I tell him. tony walks out from behind the bar towards Loki. "When they come, and they will, they'll come for you." He says. " I have an army." Loki responds. "We have a hulk." Tony replies. "I thought the beast had wondered off." Loki states. "Your missing the point." I tell him. "There is no throne. There is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes, and maybe it's to much for us. But it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the earth, you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it." Tony says. Loki stalks towards Tony. I hop off the bar stool and unsheathe my swords. "How will your friends have time for me, when the are to busy fighting you?" Loki asks, raising the scepter to Tony's chest. All I hear is a PLINK of metal on metal. Loki, Confused, does it a few more times while tony just stands there. I fight to not laugh. "This usually works." Loki says, staring at Tony's chest. "Well performance issues. Not uncommon. one out of five-" Tony is cut off by Loki Grabbing his throat and throwing him. I raise my swords. Tony mumble something as Loki picks him up by hi throat again. I Make my way over and prepare to charge Loki. I am about to use the air to rip tony out of Loki's grip when I hear the whirring of machines behind me. "You will all fall Before me." Loki says "Deploy!" Tony yells right before Loki throws him out the window. I lunge at Loki as a suit flies after tony. I bring both of my swords down in a slicing motion, which Loki blocks with his scepter. He brings his other hand up and hits me in the chest, send me backwards. I hit the bar. As I stand up, tony appears in his new suit. "And there was one other person you pissed off. His name was Phil." Tony says blasting him with a ray of plasma. outside, there is a blast of light to the sky. A dark hole opens up and all these Aliens fly out. I fly out the window beside tony. "The chitauri are here Tony." I tell him. He looks at me. "So I've noticed. " He says. We fly towards them and they start shooting at us. tony starts to shoot back as i slice them and hit them with fire. Several of them fly passed us and start attacking those on the streets. "Tony, the civilians." I say. "Go! I'll do what I can here." He replies.

                              I fly down and put up air shields and hit the chitauri with waves of fire. "Get out of here!" I yell. People everywhere start running to the subways. I shield everyone I can. I even pick people up with air. I use the concrete from the street to set up barricades and dugouts for people to hide in until they can make a run for it to the subways. I do this on several different streets. "Stark, Ashton, we're on your three headed north east." I hear through the coms. "What'd you do, stop at a drive through? Swing up park. I'm going to lay them out for you." Tony says. I focus on getting people to safety. Some people run into buildings and I cover the windows with concrete. When I have gotten as many people clear as I can, I fly to park street and I see Tony with several followers. I blast them with fire while the quinjet is shooting at them. I see the jet get hit and loose control. I use the air to help land them as best as I can. It's still a rough landing. even with Clint piloting. They exit the quinjet and I make my way to Natasha to see if she is okay. I open my mask. "We got to get back up there." Captain says. "I've evacuated as many people as I can to the subways and surrounding buildings. tony is keeping them occupied up there." I tell him. Natasha grabs my hand. "Are you okay?" We ask at the same time. I chuckle. "I'm fine. I did what I could so you guys wouldn't hit the ground hard." I tell her. The ground starts to rumble and I look up to see a massive creature come through the hole in the sky. More chitauri follow it. Tony tell us to keep an eye out for Banner. I look over to stark tower and see Thor fighting his brother. Chitauri fly at us and we hide behind a taxi. "We got civilians trapped on that building over there." Clint says. Captain looks behind the taxi in that direction. I blast chitauri out of the sky while Natasha and Clint shoot at them. Captain looks at the civilians still out on the street. "They're fish in a barrel down there." He says. Natasha sees what he's talking about. "We're good. Go. We got this." She says. "You think you can hold them off?" He asks us. I scoff and ready more flame on my hand. Clint looks back at him. "Captain, it would be my genuine pleasure." He says with a smirk. The Captain leaps into action as we do. I blast several aliens as Natasha and Clint shoot at them again. I even start throwing rocks like bullets. Clint helps people out of a bus as Natasha and I take cover behind another taxi. I shield the people with hardened air as they make their way to a building. Clint comes over and starts shooting again. The three of us keep the aliens at bay while cap does his thing behind us. "Just like Budapest all over again." Natasha states. I chuckle while Clint doesn't. "You two and I remember Budapest very differently." He grumbles. Thor flies back down to the ground as Cap makes his way back to us. Him and Thor talk about the cube. "How do we do this?" Natasha asks. "As a team." Cap states. "I have unfinished business with Loki." Thor says. "Oh yeah? Get in line." Clint says and I have to resist the urge to smack the back of his head. The Captain starts to lay out a plan. He is cut off by banner arriving on a motor bike. "Well, this all seems horrible." He says, getting off the bike. "I've seen worse." Natasha says. He looks at her then at me. "Sorry." He mumbles. "No, we could use a little worse." I offer with a smile. I smiles back at me shyly. Cap tells Tony that banner is here. "Tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you." Tony says as he flies towards us with a leviathan hot on his trail. " I-I don't see how that is a party." Natasha says. "Banner, now might be a good time for you to get angry." Cap tells him. He smirks and walks towards the leviathan. "That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry." He says. He turn as he shifts into the hulk. He punches the monster right in the face and it buckles in on itself. Tony shoots its tail with missiles to keep it from falling over on us. I shield us from its falling parts. Captain tells us our plan. He gets to me. "Ashton, you got the elements, I want you lighting them up and blowing them off course. Slice 'em when you can." I nod and get myself ready. He turns to the hulk. "Hulk.... SMASH."
