Chicken Nuggies

Ellen's POV:

"Welcome everyone to the Season 2 table read!" Shonda exclaims. Everyone claps as I take a seat across from Patrick, sitting next to Justin Chambers.

"So we all know Addison.. but some of you don't know the whole story of what I am going to do with her." She says looking at me.

"She will stay at the hospital for the whole season. Derek will have to decide between her and Meredith, and he will pick Addison." She says walking around the table. Patrick plays with his script.

"While they are trying to fix their marriage, Meredith will see plenty of other guys." Patrick looks up with wide eyes looking at Shonda, then at me. He gulps.

"I'm planning on a vet that Meredith will be falling for."

I raise my hand.

"Yes Ellen?"

"How did I meet the vet?" I ask in confusion.

"OH yes! Great question Ellen. You and your roommates; George and Izzie will adopt a dog. So you take the dog to the vet and you fall in love with the vet. Anymore questions?"

Patrick raises his hand.

"Will Meredith and Derek.. ever be a couple again?" He asks in a eager tone.

"I haven't really thought about that exactly. I was planning on Meredith and the Vet to get close."

"Well they have to get back together. It's Meredith and Derek!" Patrick exclaims in a annoyed tone, and everyone at the table read looks at Patrick, including me.

"Are there anymore questions before we begin?" Shonda changed the topic to not get Patrick more riled up.

"Nope!" Everyone says. Except Patrick.

"No." Patrick says looking annoyed. I look at him, and give him a look of sympathy. He just shakes his head, and puts his head in his hands.

《3 hours later》

Patrick's POV:

After the table read was done.. and all of the scenes with me and Ellen were completed, I went back to the trailer. Halfway to the trailer, Ellen comes running up to me.

"I love the plot. Don't you?" She mimicks me.

"Oh c'mon Patrick. You said you loved the plot earlier. What's up?" She says as she unlocks the trailer. I go in first, placing my bag on the couch and taking off my sweater. She takes off her vest.

"Paddy.."

"No Ellen. Don't Paddy me." I exclaim with anger, running my fingers through my hair.

"It's just a show. Do you not like the plot?" She says walking over to me.

"It's not that."

"Then what is it?" She says getting close to me. I look down, and she puts her hand on my chin and forces me to look at her.

"You're jealous." She chuckles.

"I am not."

"Oh you so are. Paddy.. don't be jealous." She says letting go of my chin. She puts her arms around my neck, giving me a warm hug. She stands on her tippy toes to get her head on my shoulder. I put my arms around her back, exchanging the hug.

"Everything will be fine. It's not like you'll lose me or anything." She let's go of the hug.

"We are friends." She says as I give her a look of sadness.

"Best friends." She corrects herself, as I smile in a way of victory.

"Best friends huh?" I giggle.
