Once An Asshole, Forever An Asshole

"Hello Joss."
"Hey Zee."
"So... Are you coming to my place?" Joss asked him.
"I'm... I'm sorry Joss... I think it's better that I stay with Saint for a while."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
"He's an asshole and a dickhead! He is still a bully. ARE YOU SURE?" Joss questioned Zee. His eyes immediately rested on Saint who was working on his computer a few feet away.
"Yes... Plus Mr Kanchana is going to find Angel and I a place to stay here. They have security and he will also have a security team guarding us." Zee whispered.
"Wow..." Joss responded.
"Yeah... Wow..."
"Zee... What about our cafe?" Joss questioned him.
"Saint said that I would still be able to work there but I will have people driving me there to and fro." Zee explained.
"I don't know buddy... But these threats don't come from the money lenders... I have a feeling that it has something to do with you and your biological father." Joss voiced his concern.
"Me too... But even if I leave Bangkok just like what the man wants... I can't be certain that Angel and I will be safe." Zee told Joss.
"I understand Zee... I do..."
"I hope you would find your own place soon because I want to visit you and Angel. I don't want to go to that man's house!" Joss huffed.
"I hope so too... Angel and I would be happy if you could come here. She misses you a lot!" Zee informed Joss.
"Maybe you can just come and visit here Joss... I don't think Saint would mind." Zee stated.
"It's okay... It's just weird not being able to see you two like always." Joss explained.
"I hope whoever working to find that mysterious man would find him soon."
"Me too Joss... Me too..."
"I should've gotten married much earlier when nothing like this is happening." Joss complained.
"I'm sorry Joss. I promise that after Angel and I are safe... We are so looking forward to the marriage." Zee told Joss.

    Saint's head snapped up when he heard the word marriage from Zee. He never knew that the two were already planning to be married. Suddenly his ears were buzzing. His heart began beating so fast. He stared at Zee who was still talking to Joss.

"Saint..."
"Saint?"
"Saint!!" Angel rocked Saint's forearm.
"Yes?" Saint turned to Angel.
"Are you angry with Daddy?" Angel questioned him.
"Ang... Angry? No Honey... Why did you say that?" Saint asked the little girl.
"You look very angry just now." Angel asserted,
"I did? Maybe... Maybe you were mistaken... Maybe I was thinking about something really serious." Saint lied.
"You looked like you could eat Daddy." Angel gave her opinion.
"Eat your father?" Saint turned his head towards Zee who was still talking to Joss.
"No Honey..." Saint smiled at Angel and rubbed her face with his thumb.
"Like when Daddy is REALLY mad then he looks like that too." Angel shared.

Saint studied Zee and wondered how would he look like if he were angry. He was actually looking forward to see it. He had never ever seen Zee angry until he looked like he could eat someone. He had seen him smiling and laughing. He liked the smiling and laughing Zee a lot.

"Saint?"
"Saint!!" Angel called him.
"Sorry Honey... What did you say?" Saint asked her.
"I didn't say anything Saint."
"Just now you look like Uncle Joss looks at his favourite coffee." Angel asserted.
"Huh?" Saint said.
"Why Joss?" He grumbled.

Saint blinked at the child. His shoulders slumped. This child loved her Uncle Joss. Saint felt awful for being petty towards Angel and her love towards the other man. His heart ached thinking that Zee and Joss were planning to be married. He sighed.

"Now you look sad like Daddy." Angel stated.
"Your Daddy is sad?" Saint questioned her and she nodded.
"Why is he sad?"
"I don't know... Maybe Daddy misses Grandma?" Angel pointed while shrugging. Saint nodded at her explanation.
"Saint... Remember what you said this morning?"
"This morning? About...?"
"Our Slumber party... Are we really going to have a slumber party?" Angel queried.
"Yes... I nearly forgot. Sorry Angel... But thank you for reminding me." Saint admitted.
"So what do you want to eat for our first slumber party?" He asked her and her expressive eyes immediately lit up.
"Pizzas?" Angel suggested.
"Do you like pizzas?" Saint questioned her.
"I love pizzas." She answered.
"More than you love me?" Saint asked and smiled.
"Yes." Angel replied in all honesty and Saint laughed.
"More than you love Uncle Joss?"
"No." She replied and Saint heart cracked a little more when he heard the answer.
"Other than pizzas?What should we have for our slumber party?" Saint queried.
"Popcorn? Daddy makes the BEST popcorn EVER." Angel beamed.
"We can have popcorn then."
"I am SO HAPPY!!!!!" Angel jumped up and down.
