𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐗𝐕𝐈 - 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠

After a few minutes of letting their slugs play in the meadow, they picked them up and rode back to the hideout.

"We're back" Eli yells, walking down the stairs with Luna and Junjie.

Kord and Trixie was playing video games again and while Pronto and Will was chatting with eachtoher.

Eli pulls the group- except Luna- to the kitchen and they discuss something. Luna looks at them weirdly before sitting down on the sofa and playing with her slugs.

"Hey Luna" Eli calls her.

She turns behind. "Yea?"

His face turned serious that it made Luna quietly panic before his face turned back to his goofy expression.

"We discussed about this and we can all agree. So Luna, welcome to the Shane Gang" Eli says smiling.

Luna's face brights up with joy.

"YESS!" Luna exclaims out of joy throwing her arms in the air.

"Now I'm gonna give you a heads up. There'll be a lot of pranking going on. Think you can handle that?" Eli asks with a smirk.

"Oh... OHHH I was worried yall won't be able to handle pranks" Luna chuckles nervously.

"What did you do?" the group asks in unison.

"Nooothing"

They all burst out laughing.

It was night time now. The group had gone to their own rooms and slept. Except Luna.

"Wow... Who knew we'd become part of the Shane Gang that quick huh?" she says lying down staring at the ceiling.

Her slugs chirp in response.

"We're gonna have to talk to Blakk sooner than expected."

She sighs and falls asleep.

"Hit those targets" Eli tells Luna pointing to the three targets that he and Trixie had set up.

They had left for training early in the morning.

"Seriously, I'm gonna get bored of target practice" Luna says rolling her eyes sarcastically.

She loads Spike into her blaster and fires him. The Dirt Urchin slug Velocimorphs and shoots out spikes, hitting the targets.

"Yeah, I know target practice can be boring, but it's not just hitting the target. It also teaches you different ways to hit the target" Eli explains.

"Just like the other day. You fired two different slugs, your Rammstone and Arachnet even though you could've just fired your Tormato and hit both the cans down at once" Trixie chimes in.

"Well I guess you do have a point" Luna says shrugging.

"Anyways since you're too bored for target practice, we could duel" Eli says smirking.

Luna smirks as well "You're on"

The two take out their blasters and walk in a circle maintaining their distance and eye contact. Eli makes the first move by firing his Arachnet, Spinner, which Luna easily knocked out using her Rammstone, Yin.

Luna fires her Tormato, Noelani, using her other blaster. Eli tried to run away but gets caught in the tornado. The Tormato goes back to protoform and the tornado subsides.

"C'mon Eli, anyone would know you're taking it easy on me" Luna scoffs.

Eli lands and looks around for her but can't seem to find her.

"Who said I'm taking it easy on you?" he says while loading Burpy into his wristblaster.

Trixie was full of glee recording this duel.

Eli fires Burpy and makes him fly around a tree before hitting it using Slug Fu.

Luna, who was hiding on the tree, spots Burpy flying towards her and hops onto Burpy before she could get hit out of the tree.

"Hey there Burpy" she says as she hops onto Burpy.

He flies around, unintentionally giving Luna a clear shot of Eli.

"Hey there Eli" she yells with a huge smirk on her face.

She fires her Armashelt which crashes into the ground infornt of Eli causing him to step back. While he was distracted, Luna fires her Arachnet but it doesn't hit Eli due to Burpy flipping which causes Luna to fall off.

She doesn't quite stick the landing. She falls on her back causing her to lay down there a while due to the pain. Good thing Burpy wasn't flying too high from the ground.

Eli walks up to Luna with a smirk on his face.

"I think it's obvious who won"

"Think again Eli Shane"

He hears a slug transform behind him. It was Luna's Arachnet. Webster had create a slingshot with his webs at the tree after his Slinger fired him in the wrong direction.

Webster creates a web that ties Eli up and causes him to fall to his side. Luna chuckles and gets up, picking up her blasters that had fallen out of her grip when she fell from Burpy.

She places her foot on Eli.

"You were saying, Shane?" Luna says with a smirk.

"Okay, okay, you win." Eli says surrendering.

Luna removes her foot and let's Burpy burn off the webs.

"Wow, my son defeated by a new female Slinger" Will Shane speaks up standing behind Trixie with the rest of the group.

Now Eli was really embarrassed. Not only was he beaten by a newbie Slinger, he was beaten by her infront of his group. Let alone his dad!

Luna chuckles and helps Eli up. He chuckles nervously scratching the back of his head.

"Oh c'mon, I was just taking it easy on her" Eli tries to recover his pride.

"Aww did I hurt someone's pride and ego? Oh boohoo" Luna says mocking Eli.

"Anyways, we aren't here cause we wanted to see you two duel" Kord says "We're here cause a certain someone made our pancakes spicy" Kord eyes Luna.

"And that person made mine even more spicy" Will states eyeing Luna as well.

"Okay okay. But I only made Will's pancakes spicy. It was pay back for the attidue he gave me back at the citadel but mostly because he hit my head" Luna says crossing her arms and rolling her eyes.

"Hey, I said I was sorry!" Will tries to defend himself.

"No, you said sorry to the floor" Luna states.

Trixie was chuckling. As well as the rest of the group.

"Okay! But Pronto wants to know who sabotaged his food" Pronto states.

"Okay, okay, I'll admit. I did." Eli says raising his hands in surrender.
