Days past as the tournament continues on. Events in the show go by similarly, while Asriel studys, train, and spends time with his friends.
Until.....(we all know the accident)
Asriel enters Yangs room as soon as Qrow leaves.
Asriel: Yang? Are you ok?
Yang: Asriel... *sighs* yes I'm alright.
Asriel: I know you couldn't do something like that, so can you tell me what happened?
Yang: I'm sorry... I, have a lot to think about right now. Please just leave.
Asriel: ok.....
After that, few more rounds in and another accident happens between Pyrrha and Penny.
As Asriel watches in shock, he runs to the window to see that Grimm are attacking people. As he readies himself the help Ozpin finds Asriel.
Ozpin: Asriel I need your help.
Asriel: B-but people need help sir!
Ozpin: I know, but you can't go alone and I require your help.
Ozpin soon gets Pyrrha and Jaune and the four go down were the maiden is. Just as the plan goes, a arrow hits the maidens pod letting her slowly die.
Cinder absorbs the maidens power and Jaune runs to attack, only to be swatted away, Asriel uses his fireballs to hurt Cinder, but proved useless as she blocks them. Then Pyrrha breaks out and Ozpin orders Pyrrha.
Ozpin: Take Jaune and Asriel and get out of here. Find Glynda, Ironwood, Qrow, bring them here.
Pyrrha quickly take the two away to safety.
Jaune: Okey, I think I have Glynda's number.
Asriel: What happened?
Pyrrha: I...
They hear an explosion inside the building.
Jaune: But Ozpin
Pyrrha: There's no time, go. Get to Vale and call of help
Asriel: What!
Jaune: No Pyrrha, you can't. You saw how powerful she is! Pyrrha , I won't let you do-
Pyrrha grabs Jaune and kisses him for a second and then used her semblance to push him in a pod.
Pyrrha: I'm sorry
Pyrrha activates the pod and it flys off.
Pyrrha: Asriel please leave, I must do this.
Asriel: N-no! I'm going with you! I know I am no strong, but you all have taught me to be brave, to be fight without fear. Please let me help.
With no other pod around to use she unfortunately takes him with her. As the two head to the top the battle begins.
Pyrrha fights Cinder up close, while Asriel shoots fireballs at Cinder from range which seems very effective combo the two do. Until Cinder uses even more of her power which she breaks Pyrrha's weapon and the Cinder flys towards Asriel and grabs him by the throat, holding him from the front.
Cinder: Now now, take one more step and his neck will snap.
Asriel tries to retaliate but Cinder tightens her grip, which stops Asriel immediately.
Pyrrha: No! Stop AHH-!
Cinder shoots a fireball at Pyrrha's legs, Cinder walks up close to her with Asriel still held on.
Cinder: Now watch kid, you get a front row seat to what is about to happen.
Cinder summons a spear and throws to and it peirces Pyrrha chest. Asriel starts to tear up and then he see something familiar.
Asriel looks down the see Chara's body and on his hands, there best friends soul.
