A lost soul (Asriel Dreemurr x Rwby)

Chapter 19: A quick explanation

As the group venture out eventually night comes and as they ate, Asriel finally tells the group of the event.

Asriel: Back from the tower I wanted to help Pyrrha fighting that woman. We both tried our best, but she grabbed me and she made me watch Pyrrha die....

Ruby: That's right, I saw as well......She's gone.

Jaune tightens his grip.

Asriel: No, she is still alive!

Everyone: What?

Asriel: This may sound crazy, but when she died I saw her soul and absorbed her into myself.

Jaune: Well.....can she talk?

Asriel: No, or at least I don't think so. However I can feel her emotions and right now she really cares about you. Jaune.

Jaune is quite surprised by this, but as he looks down he feels less guilty of himself.

Nora: Is there a way to get her out?

Asriel: I don't know....

Nora slowly grabs her hammer and walks up to Asriel.

Asriel: Uhh Nora? What are you doing?

Nora: Just curious if I have to break her out!

Ren: Nora no!

Asriel: AH!

Asriel runs from Nora while Ren chases the two. Jaune and Ruby are giggling.

The next few days the group prepare an ambush against a Geist Grimm. The plan goes accordingly and the group surround it, Asriel uses his sword which delt little damage.

As they fight it Jaune figures out about the Grimm's face being the weak spot and so Asriel flies high in the shy, he lifts up both arms, sparks emanating from his hands he clamps both hands and a huge lightning strikes the Grimm's back dealing a severe blow and having it topple to the ground.

With the opportunity Nora strikes it the destroy the body and the ephemeral Grimm tries to flee only for it to get shot by Ruby.

The group gather up and Asriel lands to the ground sweating a little.
