Chapter 21: Punished

Tyrian pulls his tail back. Qrow turns around, swinging his weapon and holding at the ready by his side.

Tyrian: As I live and breathe, Qrow Branwen. A true Huntsman has entered the fray!

Ruby and Asriel get up and stand by Qrow. Qrow glances back at her.

Ruby: I don't know, this guy's weird.

Qrow: Look, pal, I'm not sure who you are, but you need to leave my niece alone.

Tyrian: Why, friend, my name is Tyrian. And I'm afraid that is not possible. My assignment from Her Grace was to retrieve this young girl. So, that is what I must do. One does not upset the Queen.

Ruby: Queen?

Qrow: Salem.

Ruby: Who?

Tyrian: Hmm, I think we've had enough talk now, don't you?

Qrow: You took the words right out of—

Tyrian rushes Qrow and the two begin fighting. Asriel assist Qrow by summoning his swords and attacking Tyrian from behind, but Tyrain's tail catches his sword and it wraps on the sword and Tyrain kicks Asriel lossing his sword. Ruby gets on top of a building and tries to snipe Tyrain, but the he is moving to fast as Tyrain continues to fight Qrow. Asriel flies up to a building and he raises his arms up summoning a few dozen fireballs and Asriel calls out to Qrow.

Asriel: Qrow move!

Asriel throws his arms down as the swarm of fireballs are launched straight to Tyrain and Qrow. Qrow quickly runs in time, as Tyrain is confused. He quickly turns and he can feel the intense heat, the attack hit and a cloud of smoke covers the place. Ruby and Asriel jump down from the buildings and walk closer to the smoke. Ruby welding he scythe.

Ruby: Is it over?

Suddenly Tyrian leaps out of the smoke now burnt, he prepares to slash her with his tail, but Asriel barely pushes Ruby away taking the stinger from his side. Asriel collapses to the ground in pain, Tyrain giggles maniacally and he prepares to sting Asriel again. Ruby attacks Tyrain only for him to deflect he scythe.

Tyrian: Do you wish to be taken?

Ruby: No! But I won't stand by and watch someone get hurt!

Qrow and Ruby both move in to attack Tyrain as Asriel can feel to pain. Asriel slowly gets up to see that Ruby is in danger. He tries to get up, but the pain it to much and he goes down again. Soon Ruby get kicked to a building and the wooden beams fall. Qrow cuts them up, but by doing this he gets cut by Tyrain's stinger.

As Tyrain laughs Ruby cuts Tyrain's tail off.

Tyrain: AAHHH!! Y-YOU BITC-

Tyrain was interrupted by a shot from the back as Asriel has his arm up and Asriel gives a smile until he falls unconscious.

Tyrain slowly gets up and he runs as fast he could.

Tyrain: S-she'll forgive you.

As he runs, Ruby checks Qrow as he on one knee.

Ruby: Uncle Qrow! Are you okay?

Qrow: I'll be fine. He just grazed me.

Nora: Is Asriel alright?

Ren: He got hit too

Jaune: Why are people after Ruby?

Ruby: Uncle Qrow? What's going on?

Qrow: What's your favorite fairy tale?

Meanwhile Asriel suddenly wakes up in a dark place, he gets up and Asriel feels smaller. He looks down to see he is back as a kid. Asriel looks around until he finds a bed of flowers, one appears to be the biggest one and it turns with a creey smile.

Flowey: Howdy!
