"Please, I know you're vacationing, but I'm desperate here. If you let me borrow your Bugatti, I promise I'll owe you big time," Lizzie pleaded, her eyes wide with urgency as she flashed the universal 'pretty please' sign, complete with clasped hands and a pout that could rival a puppy's. Even through  FaceTime, her desperation was palpable. But Hope wasn't one to cave easily, well not for her sister-in-law. Her daughters and Josie; that was a different story.

"Lizzie, you know my stance on loaning out my cars. It's not just anyone who gets the keys, you know that," Hope replied, her tone firm but tinged with a hint of exasperation. She had dealt with Lizzie's schemes before, and they usually ended in chaos.

"Come on, Hope, I promise I'll take good care of it. And I'll even throw in a car wash as a bonus," Lizzie bargained, her voice dripping with false sincerity.

Hope let out an incredulous chuckle. "A car wash? Really, Lizzie? That's your idea of a sweetener?"

Lizzie shrugged, her expression sheepish. "Hey, it's the least I can do."

Hope shook her head, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips despite herself. "Nice try, Lizzie. But I think I'll pass."

Defeated, Lizzie sighed dramatically. "Fine, be that way. I'll just have to find another way to impress my friends at the club."

As Hope reached to end the call, she caught sight of Josie curled up on the couch behind her, a peaceful smile on her face. Suddenly, Hope's resolve wavered. She glanced back at Lizzie, a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

"Tell you what," she said slowly, a smirk playing on her lips. "I might know someone who owes me a favor. Let me make a call, and I'll see what I can do."

Lizzie's eyes lit up with excitement. "Seriously? You're the best, Hope!"

Hope chuckled, shaking her head at her sister-in-law's enthusiasm. But as she watched Josie stir in her sleep, a warmth spread through her chest. Maybe bending the rules just this once wouldn't hurt. After all, what's a little adventure among family?

She was finally done with work and didn't know if she wanted to spend time with her wife or let her sleep. She chose the latter and cuddled up next to her, wrapping her arms around her. She relaxed a little bit letting out the yawn. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

"Hey, wake up" Josie said in monotone voice shaking Hopes arm. Hopes eyelids protested as she forced them open, like they wanted to keep her ensconced inside the sex dream that was nowhere near finished. "Hope, come on It's already 4:15 and I'm starving" said Josie before slamming her hand onto her wife's ass.

The harsh slap jolted Hope awake this time. She turned to face her wife, her eyes widen when she saw the smug look on her face.  Hope sat up on the bed trying to read the atmosphere. Josie said she wasn't mad, yet Hope still felt some tension. The silence in the room was finally broken when Josies stomach decided to make It's emptiness known. Hope couldn't help but laugh. Josie just took a deep breath and stood up making her way towards the door however she quickly grabbed Josies wrist preventing her from leaving. "Sorry"

"Do you want me to make Lunch or do you wanna go to the town" Josie asked with a straight expression. Hope found it off. Since every time their eyes met Hope saw that warm smile on Josie's lips. To Hope it wasn't fair. Smiling like that.

"Let's make lunch together" Hope got up from the bed and walked hand in hand with Josie down stairs.
