Friday the 25th of September | Harry

When Louis wasn't at school the next day, he was worried at first. He didn't even notice for most of the first period. (Which he felt bad for afterwards, but it was whatever.)

It wasn't until the teacher asked for someone to keep Louis' copy for him (Harry volunteered to do it, naturally) that he noticed Louis wasn't there. It made a flow of uneasiness rush though his bones, but after some thinking he came to the conclusion that it was for the best; Louis had been so very tired the previous day and he could use a day to catch up with his sleep.

What did bother him however, was that Louis didn't inform him about it whatsoever. Louis had his number, so why not leave a quick message?

Maybe they weren't that close, Harry thought.

That thought didn't stop him from texting Louis during second period though.

'Hey. How r you?'

He didn't get an immediate response, but he guessed Louis was laying around in bed, being lazy and hadn't got up yet.

So he sent Louis another text. He wasn't being desperate – at least that's what he told himself – because he was being helpful. That was different, innit?

'I'll send you pics of my notes so you can keep up. Don't worry tho: it's Friday for everyone so you won't be missing much!'

So during the entire school day he sent Louis small massages and updates about how the lessons were going.

'Don't ask me why but Mr. Johnson is extra hateable today. Also, he got into another argument with Zayn over the stupid book we are reading.'

'Update: Zayn tried to throw a textbook at the man's face. Imagine if he could actually throw... he would've been in so much trouble!!'

'(Niall is laughing his ass off. I think he's gonna die soon. Just thought you'd like to know.)'

'I don't get physics at all. It's too much for my poor brain to get! Dunno how imma tutor you cuz I'm very much clueless myself.'

'Aaahhffghghh the teacher just announced we have a physics test on Tuesday.'

'I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it'

'Uhg now I have to study even more this weekend :(

'I know what will cheer me up!!'

'What did the sick chicken say?'

'Oh no! I have the people-pox!'

'...That bad huh...'

'In case you didn't like it, I'll tell another one :)'

'Why did the maths book look so sad?'

'Because of all its problems.'

'I'm such an idiot. I tried writing with an unsharpened pencil. So pointless!'

Sending Louis these texts during class wasn't the easiest job in the world: Niall was sitting next to him and kept talking his ears off about Carl. Apparently he nearly ate a bird yesterday and now Niall is worrying that he might be getting old, thinking that he got confused and put the bird in his mouth by accident. Harry had some other thoughts about that, but he decided to keep them to himself since Niall didn't like it when you said bad things about his dog.

On his way to geography, he decided to pull his phone out once more to inform Louis about the latest events. (Wren got in a fight with Ms. Nillio about the importance of eating gum during class.)
