7: Holiday Madness Part 2

"I don't want a lot for Christmas." Raj sang while baking some cookies. Bernadette happily hummed along while preparing dinner.
"There is just one thing I need; I don't care about the presents." He hadn't felt this happy in a very long time. After Thanksgiving, he decided to let go. He had fully concentrated himself on the kids and got to know Zoey better too. Howard and Bernadette were the best, they helped him through it a lot.
"Underneath the Christmas tree. I just want you for my own, more than you ever known, make my wish come true. All I want for Christmas is you!" He started dancing, Bernadette giggled.
"Hey Mariah Carey, how are those cookies coming? guest will arrive soon!" Howard said walking in.
"Almost ready!" He smiled and kept dancing and singing.
"Howie? Is the table ready?" He nodded proudly.
"All set." Bernadette was excited. They would celebrate Christmas at their house. Rajesh dad would join them, together with Bernadette's father and Mother. Sheldon and Amy took Zoey and Mary too Amy's parents and Leonard and Penny celebrated at Penny's parent's house. Penny started her last weeks of pregnancy, soon baby James would arrive. That was something they all looked forward too.
The doorbell rang.
"Oh, there they are." Howard laughed and went to open the door.
Raj quickly put his cookies in the oven and disappeared too.
"Docter Koothrapalli did you have a good trip?" Howard asked when he led him in the living room.
"Hey, Daddy." Raj quickly said too. Doctor Koothrapalli smiled. Halley came walking in with her cute tutu.
"Look RajRaj, I am wearing what you gave me." She ignored the guest.
"You look beautiful, princess." Howard showed everyone's places and went to go get Michael too. Bernadette's family would arrive not much later.

Sheldon wanted to take a bite from his food when Mary stopped him.
"Shelly, you forgot to say grace, baby." He rolled his eyes. Amy silently sighed as well, Zoey just giggled. Mary smiled towards the young girl and took Sheldon's and Amy's hand.
"Feel free to join." She said to Amy's Mother and Father. Larry just nodded and took Sheldon's other hand. After an I-don't-like-this look from Amy's mom, she also joined in. After they said grace they started eating.
"Thank you for this dinner, Mrs Fowler," Zoey exclaimed.
"See that is how you be polite." She looked at Sheldon, who had no clue on why. Zoey silently took another bite.
"So Mary, how was your flight?" Amy changed the subject.
"Oh very nice like always, I like visiting. Especially if I can meet new friends of my baby." She smiled.
"Right, tell me, who are you again?" Mrs Fowler added on to that.
"Our student," Sheldon said dryly and rolled his eyes.
"I thought you explained." He gave Amy a look. She opened her mouth to answer but Mrs Fowler interrupted her.
"She did, but that does not explain why she is here. Now, tell me, who are you?" Zoey scraped her throat.
"Uhm, I am Zoey." She stuttered not sure what they wanted to hear.
"Yes, A very smart person I heard." Mary winked happily. Zoey blushed.
"Very much so, almost smarter than me. Almost." Sheldon Smiled too. Amy shook her head.
"How old are you? Where are you from? Where are your parents? Why are you with my daughter and her husband and not them?"
"Mom, take it easy! it's Christmas." Amy tried.
"it's okay, I'm 14. I came here on my own, my parents are still in Texas. I happen to be your daughters neighbour and student. We get along pretty well, Amy takes good care of me, so does Sheldon. I was not able to fly back this year so, Amy offered me to come along and you did not sound like you minded it either." Zoey said and took the last bite of her food.
"That was delicious." She said. Amy giggled at how well she handled her mother.

"I can't wait for this little fella to arrive," Wyatt said while taking a sip of his beer.
"Never thought this would happen to our family, a wanted kid!" Randall added.
"Randall!" Susan shouted.
"Every kid is wanted in our family, just not always planned." she fake smiled.
"That's what I meant," Randall said again. Penny laughed. Oh, she loved her family so much.
"I will be glad he is out too." She complained. Leonard took her hand.
"Me too." His eyes were full of happiness. It made Penny love him even more. He was gonna be a very good father.
"I will be happy I will be able to drink some with my daughter again." Wyatt laughed. Susan rolled her eyes.
"Time for presents!" Randall yelled. He gave his mother and father a simple basket with some shower gel and perfume. He gave Leonard a gift card and gave Penny a basket with chocolate candy. Susan and Wyatt gave their kids a family picture.
"My turn!" Said Leonard and stood up to go to his bag.
"Penny, this one is for you." He said and gave a rather small package to her. She opened it carefully, it were 2 bracelets. One for a mother and one for the son.
"They're morse code bracelets. The jewellery on the bracelet spells your name and on the other one James." He said. Penny started crying.
"He can wear it from the moment he is born till, well till he doesn't want to anymore. It's adjustable."
"That is so thoughtful of you!" Penny was still crying, she hugged him tightly.
"I love you so much!" Leonard teared up too.
"I love you too!"
