6: Holiday Madness Part 1

Penny was chewing on the last piece of Halloween Candy they had when Leonard came in. He sighed.
"Again?" Penny just ignored him. He smiled.
"You know that's unhealthy right?"
"Sweety, I am gaining weight anyway now so doesn't matter" She answered playfully sticking out her tongue. He started laughing. This was the third time Penny ate all the Halloween Candy he had bought. He decided to wait to buy more. Tomorrow was The Halloween party anyway. Holiday season officially started then and also the time Sheldon started complaining. The only thing Leonard didn't like about it. The complaining.
"What costume are you going to wear tomorrow?" He asked Penny to change the subject.
"I was thinking to go as pumpkin," it only made Leonard give her a confused look. She giggled.
"I am joking, I am going as Winnie the pooh. You know already." He nodded.
"Right!" He laughed at the thought of Penny as Winnie the pooh in his head. She rolled her eyes.
"Hey Tigger, you're no better then me." She threw at him. He shook his head. Oh how he loved her.

Raj hadn't heard from Riley for more then a week. He was worried sick she didn't answer his phone calls, emails, text messages, even when he got the guts to go to her door she didn't open it. Her neighbor said she hadn't been home in a few days. He had cried and felt miserable. What if something bad had happened? It was all his fault! He took all the courage he had left to go to Howard and Bernadette. He had promised to babysit tonight a while ago, he couldn't let Halley down. He dragged himself outside when he noticed something in his mailbox. Confused he went to check it out. It was a letter, a letter from Riley! He ran to his car and drove as fast as he could to his friends.

Sheldon and Amy were discussing the costumes they were going to wear to the party.
"Sheldon, we decided this as a group, to make Penny feel comfortable! We are going in onesies and you are Rabbit and I am Owl." He sighed.
"I do not want to be a Bunny and I will certainly not wear a onesie." Amy rolled her eyes.
"Then why did you say it was okay?"
"I did not. I was overpowered by democracy. You all voted for it." She sighed.
"You want be someone else?" Sheldon was quiet for a second.
"Christopher is not a onesie, I guess it's better then this ridiculous stuff."
"Yeah, you're staying a character of this bear if you want it or not." She said taking her phone. Sheldon started mumbling and went to sit crossed armed in his spot. Amy dialed the number of Howard and Bernadette.
"Hey Amy!" Bernadette said happily on the phone.
"What's up?" Amy gave one last look to Sheldon and mouthed, you sure? He just nodded, annoyed.
"Sheldon doesn't want to be Rabbit." She sighed. She heard Bernadette do the same on the other side of the phone.
"I'll ask Howard, give me a sec." Amy heard her yell to Howard and ask if he was okay with it. It didn't take long before she got an answer.
"Yeah fine he can be Christopher." Amy smiled.
"Thanks for understanding."
"Always, Halley put that down! Okay, emergency gotta go!" And with that Bernadette hung up. Amy turned to Sheldon.
"Happy now?"
"No, but at least it's not a bunny anymore." Amy threw her arms in the air and walked to the kitchen. She was done with this. Right then, there was a knock on the door.
"Amy!!!" Zoey came running in, full of excitement.
"My onesie arrived!" Amy gave a side eye to Sheldon and then looked Zoey in the eye. Who immediately got the hint.
"But we can look at it later," She tried.
"What if I just come to your place." Amy answered wanting to get out of this place anyway. Zoey's enthusiasm returned.
"That's good too, come!! I want you to see it!" She took Amy's hand and pulled her with her.
"I'll be back," She Quickly yelled at Sheldon before disappearing. Sheldon was left alone. He stared at the door and sighed. He was mostly frustrated with himself. Why could he not be so open and caring like Amy was? He once did not want to be, but lately... Things had changed. Halley, Michael, Zoey and now James would be here soon too. It looked like all of his friends and his wife just could let go and deal with it. The madness of a 14 year old teenager in the middle of puberty, a 3 year and 2 year old toddler and another crying baby! Why did they all make it look so easy? It was not easy! The hugging, the talking, the playing, everything! Sheldon decided to do some research, he wanted to be able to cope with this like everyone else was doing, so Amy also could finally have her biggest dream.
