4: The Big Reveal

"Welcome, to a new episode of Doctor Sheldon Cooper and Doctor Amy Farah Fowler present, Doctor Sheldon Cooper Fun with Flags!" Amy and Sheldon said, enthusiast. It was that time again, a new episode of Fun with Flags.
"Today we will be talking about the flags of pirates," Sheldon said short. Amy nodded.
"Argg." Howard and Raj rolled their eyes. Footprints on the moon was not made for this.
It had been a few weeks since Zoey moved in across the hall, to everyone's surprise, she seemed to be very independent. Classes went by very easy and fast, and she was indeed remarkably smart. Sheldon stepped up his game because of that. She loved the challenges he gave her.
Amy had grown fond of the girl, took care of her sometimes, gave her advice. When they had time left after their class, they talked a lot. They seemed to have a lot in common; it came to the point that Amy drove Zoey around as she did with Sheldon. Zoey happened too come over and eat with them a lot more than expected. It made Sheldon frustrated. It was like Penny all over again.
"This is the Jolly Roger flag, a well-known flag for our western world. Black with a skull and crossbones. The flag was meant to strike fear into victims and encourage a hasty surrender." Sheldon started. He was interrupted by Zoey, who walked in already wearing her pyjamas. She froze when she saw what was going on.
"Sorry," she stuttered. Sheldon angrily sighed. Raj rolled his eyes at him and gestured Howard.
"Can we do the intro once more? My fingers are getting cramped from doing nothing." He asked. Howard nodded, ignoring Sheldon. He counted down from 4, and they started playing.

Zoey applauded them.
"Did you write that yourself?" she jumped over to the kitchen while asking. They proudly said yes. She excitedly started a conversation about how some note changes could change the entire song but make it better. Raj and Howard even tried them out. Sheldon turned to Amy,
"Can you believe that?" Amy shht him.
"I'm trying to listen. This could be interesting for my harp music too." Zoey heard that, and she turned around immediately.
"You play the harp?" Amy smiled slightly.
"Oh my God, that is so cool." Amy stood up to join them. She loved that Zoey was so supportive of everything.
"I play the guitar, can we practice together sometime?" Zoey asked with puppy eyes, to all of them. They nodded and went on. Sheldon couldn't believe what just happened. He sighed again and turned to the camera.
"See, that is what happens when you let children walk in during tape nights." He wasn't completely done saying it when the door was opened—revealing Bernadette and the kids. Halley ran towards the camera. Two nostrils were seen on screen.
"Uncle Shelly!! are you recording again?" Sheldon fell backwards into the couch.
"I give up." He mumbled. Michael joined Halley. He reached up, yelling see—one of his first words. Howard went over, too help him. That's when Leonard and Penny also came in.
"I have Thai food!" He yelled. It took mere seconds for everyone to arrange and sit down around the coffee table.
"Really?" Sheldon asked. He shook his head and stood up to dismantle the camera while Leonard gave everyone their food.
Zoey always settled down next to Raj on the floor. He was the only one not asking questions about her life, so she felt more comfortable next to him.
"So, how is it going with the baby?" Bernadette asked Penny with a wink. She giggled.
"I don't know, ask him!" Bernadette lowered herself.
"Hey little Leonard, how ya doing?" They all laughed. Penny was still not sure if she wanted a boy, but there was nothing she could do about it. Lately, Leonard started throwing potential baby names at her. But she knew exactly what she wanted, and it was none of his names. Something straight forward, short and none star trek or star wars related! That's for sure!

NEXT DAY

Zoey and Amy were wrapping things up from there lesson they just did. It was time for their lunch break.
"So Zoey do you enjoy it here so far?" Amy asked.
"It helps if great people surround you." Amy giggled. It was silly but true.
"Amy?" Zoey started. They packed their bags and left the room, heading towards the cafeteria.
"Hmm?" She encouraged her to go on.
"Do you think doctor Cooper would let me join one of their comic nights?" Amy took a deep breath.
"Pfooee, I don't know, he still wants you to call him doctor you might want to wait a little longer. But hey, I can go with you. I know Stuart he is amiable, Denise is even better!" She winked at her. Zoey nodded and smiled. That was nice too.
