XXV: Blood

Chapter 25

Taehyung's belly is growing fast and it's almost been a month since the true omega found out he was pregnant. He still goes to school but he wears baggy clothes to try to hide his belly and he would always be covered in Jungkook's scent. The teachers know that Taehyung is pregnant which is why they let Taehyung get away with a lot of things.

"Take off your shirt and wear this one!" Taehyung throws a shirt at Jungkook, they were in their bedroom, Taehyung was laying in the bed, surrounded by Jungkook's things, "it does not smell like you anymore."

Jungkook pulls his shirt off and hands it to Taehyung, putting the shirt that Taehyung threw at him on, "do you need anything else?" he asked.

"I want pickles and chocolate.. Oh and I want raw meat too," Taehyung curls up in Jungkook's clothes, the smell of Jungkook's scent, makes him feel safe.

The true hybrid was about to walk out of the room to get the things Taehyung wanted till he was yelled at, "don't leave me you meanie!" he heard his mate yelled.

"I'm just going to get you food," Jungkook smiled, "I promise I'll come back, pup." He left to get the food for Taehyung, he doesn't question Taehyung about his food choices because Jin told him it's the effect of being pregnant.

Doyun had become a pack member since he did not have a pack and does not plan on leaving anytime soon. He has been studying Taehyung closely, trying to figure out what he is since no one was telling him the truth about the boy.

When Jungkook walked into the room, carrying the food, he saw a crying Taehyung on the bed, "pup what's wrong!?" he asked, setting the food down on the table as he ran up to his mate.

"You were gone too long!" Taehyung pouts and pushes Jungkook away, "Now I don't want to see your pretty face."

Jungkook shakes his head, smiling, "I know that is not true, pup," he chuckled, "and I brought you food, also you need to drink some blood." He has been making sure Taehyung is healthy and strong.

Later that day, Taehyung is with his friends as Jungkook was called to talk with the alpha.

"You wanted to speak with me, hyung?" Jungkook wandered as he walked into Namjoon's office that is in the packhouse.

Namjoon looked up at him, "Jungkook I hope you do know what will be coming in a week?" the alpha asked, Jungkook also saw that the wizard was also there.

"Hmm no?" Jungkook takes a seat, looking at Namjoon and Hyungdae.

"The blood moon will be in a week," Namjoon said.

"what!? " Jungkook sits up more in his seat.

"The blood moon is happening this year and in a week," Hyungdae confirmed.

"Vampires will be their strongest during the blood moon and I heard that a new vampire clan is planning on attacking mix packs. Jungkook, our pack is one of those mix packs," Namjoon explains (mix pack means it is a packed mix with wolves, vampires, and even wizards/witches).

Jungkook rubs his forehead, "what is your plan?" the true hybrid asked.

"We are going to have to put the omegas, pups, and the old in the safe den (it's a shelter where they go to when there is danger) and have the betas that do not know how to fight with them as well," Namjoon tells Jungkook the plan.

Jungkook sighs, "Taehyung is pregnant, I can't leave him... I need to stay with him hyung."

"I'm sorry kook but you are our strongest fighter in the pack, being a true blood half-true alpha hybrid. The blood moon will also make you strong-"

Hyungdae cut-off Namjoon, "let him be with his mate because Taehyung can not go down in the safe den with the others." the wizard said.

"What!?" Jungkook raised his voice and Namjoon glared at the wizard.

"Taehyung is a pregnant true omega, his scent will be too strong to hide and we don't want the safe den to be found. This is why he will be at my house with Hoseok and Jungkook staying there. I have learned that Taehyung's blood has an effect on true blood and I think pure vampires as well but not normal vampires," Hyungdae explains.

Taehyung cut his finger on the throne of a rose, "Tae are you okay?" Jimin asked as he ran up to him to see that Taehyung's finger was bleeding.

"Yeah, my finger just got poked by the rose," Taehyung whimpered when Jimin started cleaning the cut.

Yoongi walked up to Jimin and Taehyung, "hey- that's smell good!" he sniffed the air, smelling Taheyung's blood.

"Yoongi?" Taehyung mumbles but he gasps when he sees Yoongi's eyes turn black and he sees the male's fangs.

"Fuck," Yoongi groans and ran off, he needed to get out of there because the scent of Taehyung's blood was affecting him a lot. The vampire ran into the forest and then blackout.

When Yoonig woke up, he found himself in the woods, covered in blood and the blood was not animal blood, it was human blood, he had killed humans.
