XVIII: Party

Chapter 18

 A month has passed, Taehyung is now taking special classes in school. He still takes the normal classes in the morning with Jimin but his creature class (where he learns about his kind) is now shorter since he got a new class. His new class is called the inner wolf and it is where Taehyung learns to control his wolf. Jungkook is always next to Taehyung during school, he has become even more protective over the boy.

Today is a Saturday so there was no school but there is going to be a party at the pack. Today is February 18, Hoseok's birthday and he turned 23 which is why there is going to be a party.

Taehyung was in the big kitchen in the packhouse, helping Jin and other cooks there as well, he was mainly helping Jin and learning things.

"This is how you peel a potato," Jin was teaching Taehyung how to peel the potatoes.

While Taehyung was in the kitchen, Jimin was helping decorate outside, setting tables, and hanging things up. Hoseok was out in the human town with Namjoon because Namjoon was told to keep Hoseok out of the pack grounds so they could decorate.

Jungkook was out on a hunt with some alpha wolves to help, he really wanted to be with Taehyung but his father told him to go hunt.

"Jin hyung!" Jungkook called for the beta as he carried the meat into the kitchen, with the help of the other alpha wolves, Kook was able to get a lot of meat for tonight.

"Thanks, kook," Jin opens the tub to look at the different types of meat that was wrapped up to keep it separated. The beta takes the meat in the back.

"Jungkook," a soft voice said and the true hybrid knew who it belonged to as he turned around and smiled.

"Pup, how are you?" Jungkook walks up to Taehyung, pulling the boy closer to him.

"I'm good, I peeled potatoes for Jin hyung and he said I did a good job!" he giggles, "I really like cooking."

The true hybrid brings his hand up to touch Taehyung's cheek, "that's good to hear that." he pecks Taehyung's forehead. Jungkook hasn't marked Taehyung yet or even asked him to be his boyfriend, JK been driving Jungkook nuts but Kook wants to go at a slow pace as he is also new to this.

Taehyung blushed, looking down as he softly touched his forehead where Jungkook's lips were once at, "I need to go help Jin hyung, bye kookie!" the true omegas ran to the back where Jin was.

Time Skip to when the party already started~

"Thank you guys for this party, it means a lot to me that you guys remember my birthday and I hope you all are having a great time because I know I am!" Hoseok says in the microphone that he was holding and everybody cheered.

Junghoon had invited some of his allies that are from the Wang pack that is close to his back. "Mr. Jeon, thanks for inviting me," Mr. Wang said.

"Ruiji, we are friends so you don't need to call me Mr. Jeon here," Junghoon chuckled softly.

How he became friends with Wang Ruiji is because Ruiji used to be in Junghoon's pack, he was born and raised in the pack so Junghoon and he have been friends since they were little. Ruiji wanted to make his own pack so he left True and made a pack close to, he is always welcome to come to True again. Junghoon had given Ruiji a job to be the principal at his school, BigHit High.

Also, Ruiji is a normal hybrid, he was turned when he fell in love with this vampire (he was not born a hybrid, was born as an alpha wolf).

"Sorry, you're my boss," Ruiji chuckled.

"Happy birthday Hoseok hyung!" Taehyung gave the sub alpha a big hug.

Hoseok hugs him back but pulls away when he sees Jungkook glaring at him, "thanks Tae or should I say little brother," he ruffles Taehyung's hair.

Taehyung is Hoseok's half brother because Taehyung's mother is Hoseok's mother.

"Alright, stop touching him," Jungkook pulls Taehyung close, wrapping his arms around the boy's waist to cause Taehyung's back to being against Jungkook's.

"I won't steal him Jungkook, he is your fated mate," Hoseok rolled his eyes but he was happy that Jungkook has a chance to be able to have a mate.

Taehyung loves being in Jungkook's strong arms, he feels the safest there, "Kookie, let's go eat!" he groans, rubbing his belly.

"Okay okay," Jungkook kissed Taehyung's cheek and took him to where the food is.

"Jungkook," someone called and Jungkook turned around to look at who called.

"Oh, what up Jackson," Jungkook walks up to him, Taehyung was sitting at the table, eating.

"Nothing, your father invited us and I wanted to see my buddy," Jackson chuckled, "we don't even see each other anymore during school."

Jungkook nods, "yeah."

"Why did you leave the hybrid classes?" Jackson asked, he is born as a normal hybrid.

"Well I had to go to the omega classes," Jungkook looked back to make sure Taehyung is okay and he saw Taehyung talking to his father and Namjoon.

"Why omega classes? Jungkook your true alpha half-true blood, why did my father put you in omega classes!?" Jackson wondered.

"I have a mate and my father told Mr. Wang to put me in omega classes," the true hybrid explains.

Jackson's eyes widen, "mate!? So it is true that you got a mate! Bro you're the first true hybrid to ever have a mate," the hybrid pats Jungkook's shoulders. "Can you see your mate?"

"Pup, I want you to meet someone," Jungkook rubs Taehyung's lower back.

Taehyung looks at Jungkook and smiles, "Okay kookie," he said, Minjun and Namjoon were still standing there.

"Pup, this is Jackson and he is a hybrid like me and Jackson this is Taehyung my beautiful omega mate," Jungkook introduced his mate to his friend.

Jackson didn't touch Taehyung, not even shaking his hand, "it's nice to meet you!" he said, Jackson knew JK was a very possessive wolf so that's why he didn't get close to Taehyung.

"Tae I'm going to look for my mate," Namjoon said and gave Taehyung a hug, Jungkook pokes his cheek with his tongue, "see ya dad," Joon said to Munjin before he left.

"Okay Joon," Munjin said to his oldest son.

"Munjin!" a female alpha yelled for the male omega.

I'm coming, Migyung!" Munjin yelled back seeing his mate waiting, "All right, Tae I need to help my wife," he kissed the top of Taehyung's head.

"Okie, bye-bye dad," Taehyung giggles, Jungkook doesn't get jealous when Munjin is with Taehyung because of the boy's dad.

While that was happening, there was someone sitting next to a tree, talking to his phone watch thingy, "the true omega is still alive sir," he whispers.
