"so this is the girl you're talking to?" i ask and show mattia the picture he posted on his spam. he smiled at the picture and nodded.

"she's pretty."

"i know, you said."

i look at him and stick my tongue out at him. "i'm gonna head home guys." i announce and stand up.

"do any of you guys need a ride home?" i ask as i tie the laces on my black and white converse.

"yup." i hear mattia say and he too gets up and puts his shoes on.

"anyone else?" i raise a brow and look at roshaun and kairi. they both shake their heads. "we're staying the night."

"and why aren't oreo and i not invited?" mattia bunched his eyebrows together, jokingly.

"you guys are more then welcome to stay the night." kairi shrugs, keeping his eyesight on the tv.

"i would but i can't, my mom's working a night shift tonight and i need to look after indie." i tell them and kairi pauses the game and looks up at me.

"her and maiya are like best friends. she can spend the night in maiya's room."

i think about it for a second. i mean she could but i'd have to ask her first.

"okay, well let me just go home and ask her and grab clothes. i'll message you if she says no."

they nod and i turn to mattia. "you're staying here, right?" he nods.

"but i'm gonna come with you."

"and what if indiana says no?"

"which she won't," mattia grinned. "but if she does then i guess i'm just going to have to spend the night at your house."

i smile and nod and then leave kairi's house. we get to my car and both get in. mattia once again has control of the aux.

"so when are you planning on asking jenna to be your girlfriend?" i ask and turn my head to look at him and then quickly turn it back to the road.

he shrugged. "i don't know, maybe next week." i nod.

"what about you? when are you going to ask theo to be your boyfriend?" he wiggled his eyebrows and i rolled my eyes and laughed.

"never."

"aw, c'mon ori, you gotta ask him one day."

i shake my head. "nope, i'm never going to ask him."

he sighed and then nodded. "so if you won't ask him, can i?"

i widen and my eyes and turn my head to face him. "hell no!" i almost yell and he begins laughing.

i eventually pull into the drive and we get out. i walk up to the house and open the front door to see my mom sitting in the living room wearing her nurse uniform.

"bok mama, je li u redu ako indiana i ja ostanemo u kairi's večeras?" i ask in bosnian and she looks up at me and mattia.

"of cource you can." she smiles and i kiss her on the head.

"thanks, mami."

i run upstairs and knock on indie's door. i hear a 'come in' and i do. mattia and i walk in and she looks up from her phone.

she looks up and smiles at mattia. "hi matti!" she waves and he waves back.

"do you want to sleep over at maiyas?" i ask and she nods. "okay, get your stuff packed and meet us downstairs."

i walk back out of her room and into mine. i grab my bag and begin putting necessary things in it.

"have you got any stuff here?" mattia asks and i nod. i walk over to my closet and get out one of his hoodies and a pair of his joggers that he's worn and left here before. i hand then to him and he thanks me.

"indie!" maiya yells and the two girls run towards each other and hug. they then walk upstairs to her bedroom and mattia and i go to kairi's room.

"hey guys." i smile as i walk in and set my bag on the floor.

"we're gonna watch a movie. what one?" roshaun asks as kairi scrolls through netflix.

i walk over to kairi's bed and sit down on it and mattia sits next to me. "whatever. i don't mind."

they nod and kairi puts on a movie and we begin watching it.

mattia lays his head on my lap and i begin to run my hands through his black, soft hair.

i look down at him and he has his eyes fixed to the screen. i'm not sure why but i felt something. just admiring him made me want this to last forever. him being in my arms made me feel safe. the feeling was weird. very weird. but i couldn't have this feeling because he's with jenna.
