The Volleyball Team's Baby

Chapter 7

After a couple minutes of Kageyama whispering soothing things in your ear, you had stopped crying. He took you downstairs and sat you down on the couch before putting on a random cartoon and going into the kitchen. The cartoon that he put on just so happen to be (insert favorite cartoon). You giggled and sang along to the theme song though you mostly babbled nonsense the whole time. You crawled over to where you had thrown the dino plushie and went back to where you were sitting "Me sowwy for throw you" You mumbled to the dino and gave it a big hug. Kageyama came back into the room with a bowl of (insert favorite cereal). You made grabby hands towards the bowl which made him chuckle. He sat down beside you and held the spoon towards your lips, you opened your mouth and ate the cereal making a sound of approval. He fed you while you two cuddled on the couch watching cartoons. After a while you got bored and started whining "What's the matter kitten?" He asked with a slight frown. "Wan play" You said with a pout. He smiled and pat your head "How about we play hide and seek then? I'll count and you go hide." You nodded your head quickly while a giggle escaped your lips. You quickly got up and looked for a place to hide while Kageyama started counting. You crawled upstairs slowly trying to make as little noise as possible before you hid inside one of the closets in one of the many bedrooms. "Ready or not here I come!" You heard him shout from downstairs. You heard his footsteps walking around downstairs for a while before he started coming upstairs. You pushed your body further back into the wall behind all of the clothes. The closet filled with clothes luckily hid your body perfectly leaving you out of sight. You knew for sure you would win. You heard when the room door open "Come out come out wherever you are~" Kageyama said, it was like he knew you were there. He opened the closet door and let out a sigh "Guess she isn't in here" He said before shutting the door. You had tried your hardest not to laugh when he opened the door and luckily you didn't but once he closed it a small stifled giggle escaped your lips. You quickly covered your mouth hoping he hadn't heard you, much to your dismay he opened the closet again before finding you. He picked you up with a triumphant smile "Found you" He said happily. You pouted scrunching your nose a little "No fair! Again!" You demanded. He obliged and you both played hide and seek until everyone got back. When they arrived you were sitting on the couch with your arms folded with your eyebrows furrowed and your nosed scrunched up. Though you always had a good hiding spot you always seemed to give yourself away. Kageyama was sitting next to you cooing at you and saying you did a good job. You made sure to make a mental note:

Don't play hide and seek with Kageyama

Sorry this chapter is shorter than usual but I really wanted to post a chapter today but I got caught up in drawing today so I apologize but have this little mini chapter for now! ^^
