Chapter 10

Asahi rubbed your back and whispered sweet nothings in your ear. Your crying ceased and now you were just sniffling trying to get your breathing under control. "Are you ok baby girl?" He asked quietly. You nodded slowly not trusting your voice in that moment. "Hold on I'll be right back" He stated as he got up and started walking over to the man who was trying to stumble away.

Asahi was furious his blood boiling, how dare this disgusting excuse of a man touch what was his. He had tried to convince himself to just walk away and take you back to the others but he had to let out his anger, he couldn't hold it back. He went over to the drunk man, a dark aura surrounded him and the man cowered back in fear. He grabbed the man by his collar before sending punches to his face. He let go of his collar letting the man fall to the ground before kicking him in his stomach. This is what he deserved no one can touch what's his. He hadn't realized when the man became unconscious nor did he care. He had stopped only when you wrapped your arms around his waist "S-Senpai please..." You muttered. He let out a frustrated sigh but stopped, he grabbed your hand and took you to Daichi's house. On the way there neither of you spoke, it wasn't an awkward silence but for some reason you felt the need to talk. "T-Thank you for.... Earlier.." You said breaking the silence. He stopped walking and looked at you with a soft expression "Why are you thanking me? The guys would've done the same, you mean a lot to us you know" Why would you feel the need to thank me? You remained quiet and just shook your head before walking again. He wondered what was going on in your head, you seemed slightly distant or was he imagining it? He was lost in his own train of thought on the way. Had something happened before or was it because of the incident, he didn't know. He was so caught in thought he hadn't noticed you in front of him and bumped into you. "E-Eh? Gomen" He said quickly. "Its ok, you looked distracted and I didn't want you to trip" You said. He frowned slightly, you didn't smile at him like you would usually. You both went inside and you were tackled into a hug by Hinata. "Princess I missed you!" He exclaimed happily. 'Don't slip don't slip' You repeated in your head over and over. You smiled at him before hugging him back "I missed you too Shoyo~Kun" You said trying to match his enthusiasm.

Hinata looked at you for a moment before a small frown appeared on his face. That smile looked fake... It wasn't like your usual ones did something happen? "Baka Hinata! Get off of her!" Kageyama shouted as he grabbed the orange haired male and moved him away from you. Hinata glared at Kageyama as he wrapped his arms around your waist saying how much he missed you. How dare he I was there first. He pouted before hitting Kageyama with a volleyball. You erupted into a fit of giggles "W-Where did that even c-come from?" You said through giggles. Hinata chuckled feeling accomplished because he made you laugh. The whole atmosphere around him changed suddenly, he got chills and slowly turned around to see a fuming Kageyama. "Die baka!" He shouted as he started chasing Hinata. I'm too young to die!

You giggled at their childishness forgetting how you had felt hours prior. Much to Hinata's dismay Kageyama caught him, luckily before he could seriously hurt him Suga went and stopped him. You all were sitting near the couch because everyone had insisted you all should watch a movie. They had been arguing for five minutes over what movie to watch. "Reader you pick" They all said in unison. "E-Eh? So sudden..." You muttered in surprise. You took the remote before scrolling through the selection of movies. 'No Disney.. Or Pixar for that matter. Nothing childish I can't slip' You ended up choosing a horror movie "How about this?" You asked, stopping on the movie. Daichi let out a chuckle before patting your head. "Honey, you're to little for that" He said softly. You started to slip. "Here I'll pick something" He said as he took the remote before going to the exact thing you were trying to avoid.... Disney. He put on Toy Story saying that you all would watch all the Toy Story movies. Though earlier they were arguing about what movie to watch, strangely enough they all agreed. 'Don't slip don't slip don't slip' You repeated in your head during the whole movie. You were so focused you hadn't notice Suga's excessive staring. He looked at you worriedly wondering why you were forcing yourself. He leaned over to Tsukishima before whispering something to him. He nodded before getting up and going to do what Suga had asked. He came back moments later before sliding into the spot next to you, you looked over at him confused tilting your head a little. He smiled at you before placing the dino plushie you had left earlier into your lap. "You looked like you wanted it" He whispered trying his best to cover the small smirk that tugged at his lips. You looked down at the stuffed animal conflicted. Stuffy I missed chu!- No wait don't slip! Did they notice something was off? No they couldn't have. You let put a breath you didn't even realize you were holding in when the movie ended. That is until you realized there were three more of them to sit through. As soon as the credits started to play Daichi grabbed the remote and put Toy Story 2 on. At this rate you'd slip, you just knew it but what could you do? You suddenly got an idea and silently prayed it would work. You let out a fake yawn before tightly clutching the plushie to your chest before laying you head on Tsukki's shoulder. "Hm? Is my little baby tired?" He said in a playful tone. You made a humming noise before closing your eyes, now all you had to do was focus on not slipping. It had been about an hour since you 'fell asleep' and even though they were convinced you were asleep they were still watching Disney movies. "Are you done pretending yet?" You almost jumped as Tsukishima whispered in your ear. No no no! How did he know? "I'm gonna take her upstairs ok?" He said to the other while he got up. There was a chorus of mhm and oks as he started up the stairs. You stayed as still as possible and kept your breathing under control hoping he'd just think you were asleep all along. You felt your back hit soft sheets and the bed dip next to you. "I know you're awake, there's no use pretending" He spoke clearly. You stayed quiet hoping sooner or later he'd leave. He let out a sigh before getting up "Sleep well baby" He muttered as he kissed your forehead. You heard his footsteps walk towards the door and heard it open and close. You waited a few moments before sitting up and throwing the plushie. You looked towards the door and let out a small squeak surprised to see none other Tsukishima. He stood there with a sad look on his face, you felt immediate guilt wash over you as you stared back at him. He walked back over to the bed before sitting on the edge of it "Did something happen at your house..?" He asked quietly, this was so unlike the Tsukishima you knew. Should you tell him? "Nothing happened so just leave me alone!" You snapped at him. Your eyes widened, you were shocked at yourself. You placed your hand over his "T-Tsukki I didn't mean to I just" He snatched his hand away before getting up his back facing you. "No I get it" He said before walking out of the room closing the door behind him. You stared at the door silently hoping that maybe just maybe he'd come back. You felt something wet drop onto you hands before instinctively touching you cheek. You were....crying? You sniffled and let your tears out. I-I didn't mean to... I'm sorry please.....

That's it for this chapter, me being the dummy I am forgot to update yesterday even though it was a holiday and I said I'd post. I'll post again in a couple of minutes so look out for that!
