"Let me get this straight, Brian Hanby, leader of The Crystal Gems, Evans dad, was actually Pink Diamond?!" Tyler yelled, confused out of his mind, "He faked his own shattering, and reformed to Brian all the time" Evan explained, "Pink Diamond's final command to me, was that no one could know...But now that Evan does, I can finally tell you all everything" Brock confessed.

"Whew, I mean, a pink lion, a pink sword, and now pink diamond, if you told me Brian invented cotton candy I'd believe it! Right, Garnet?" Tyler joked, nudging at the fusion's elbow. The fusion stayed quiet. "Uh, Garnet?" Tyler asked, concerned. Still quiet, the fusion stood up, before uttering one singular word "Brian..." The fusion growled, "He...He" he stuttered, looking down at the gems in his hands. The fusion made a noise of struggle, a tear streaming down it's cheek, before unfusing.

"Jaren?!" John asked "HE LIED TO US!" Jaren yelled "HE LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING" He yelled, ice now forming on the ground around John, Evan and Brock. "He held our hands and looked us right in the eyes and told us never to question who we are as Garnet, we never questioned ourselves...or him!" he yelled again.

"we couldn't have known!" John said, trying to calm the situation "No! You couldn't have known! You never know what's going on! That's what I'm for!" Jaren yelled, his voice wavering, "Jaren..." John muttered "But I never looked into him, I trusted him...I let him make fools of us all!" Jaren yelled, and walked over to the warp pad.

"Jaren wait!" John wailed, running over to the warp pad, "Guys!" Evan yelled as he tried to follow the gems, but slipped ass over on ice as his flip flops didn't provide much traction. "Please! We can just stay calm and talk about this! Right? Lets just talk!"John said as he tried to get his partner to stay.

"Talk about what? How our relationship is based on a lie?! What else is there to say...?" Jaren said as tears fell down his left cheek (a/n: In my reference drawing of him, he has an eye patch on his right eye as Sapphires in the show only have one eye and its covered by their hair. so yeah) before warpping away.

"John, I'm so sorry" Brock said, heartfelt. Evan lifted himself off of the icy floor, and said "Come on, Brock, help me explain everything to Jaren." "Right!" Brock said, as he walked to the warp pad, "Sit tight, John. We'll go and get Jaren" Evan said as he slid across to the warp pad, "Okay..." John said as his voice wavered and tears slipped down his cheeks.

After warpping away, the only thing that was heard in the house was John's cries of pain.

⛓With Jaren⛓

"Maybe he's here?" Brock said as they warpped to Brian's garden, which instead of being overrun with thorns like last time they were here, it was cold and snowy. "Jaren!" Evan yelled, when they found him. He was hunched over the edge of the fountain that was there, and ice was surrounding the edge of his dress.

When they both ran over to him, the Sapphire used his ice powers and a sharp and jagged piece of ice emerged from the earths surface. Brock ducked as he was the height of the sharpest peak.

"Everything we were running from, he was right there all along...using us for his...little war...smiling at us with those...knowing eyes... Making me believe in a better future I couldn't see...because it wasn't real! And now here we are! Our friends shattered! And Corrupted! of course he was a diamond. What a long run he took, to torture us like this..." Jaren wept.

"It wasn't like that! You know he didn't want anyone to get hurt!" Evan stated "I don't know that! I clearly don't know anything!" Jaren cried. "You deserve to know everything" Brock stated

"I was given to Pink Diamond just a few thousand years before he was given the earth. I was supposed to make him happy, I just...never could"
