Pietro was a little beaten and bruised after you had all come together to fight Ultron's entire army to protect the key.
Pietro had always been able to see through you, and at the moment he could see that you were hiding a huge gash on your right arm. The arm itself felt numb ( which is probably really bad ) except you guys had a job to do. So you volunteered to watch the key as everyone else worked to evacuate the bit of Sokovia rising into the sky. Only Pietro wouldn't leave.
"You can hide the wound from everyone else, but now from me y/n."
"Babe, I'm fine. Go help the others."
"I'm not going to leave you here."
"I can take care of myself."
You even got a chance to prove it as three of Ultron's robots had burst into the dome and you quickly took care of them with your powers. "Fine," he grumbled, "be safe."
You reached out and grabbed his arm to force him to look at you. "You have to stay safe too." Leaning in your lips brushed against his before he grinned and took off as a blur of silver ( with a bit of pink in his cheeks ).
