Wishes

Harry Potter- New Friends

(A/n: In this, it's you and Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts)

Y/n woke up on September first and began packing excitedly. She was so excited that she was finally going to Hogwarts. Once she was completely packed her mother and father put her trunk in their car and the three of them drove to the train station. 

"Bye mum! Bye, dad! See you guys this Christmas." Y/n shouted as she got went through the platform. The Hogwarts Express whistled loudly and y/n quickly got on. She looked for an empty compartment but was unable to find one. 

She saw a compartment with two boys her age and opened the door. "Mind if I join you two?" She asked. One of the boys looked up at her and nodded. He had unruly black hair and bright green eyes.

"I'm (y/n) (y/l/n)." She said holding out her hand when she sat down across from the two boys.

"I'm Harry and this is Ron." Harry shook the quite attractive girl's hand. She had (h/c) hair and beautiful (e/c) eyes as well as a bright smile that was contagious. 

The three chatted for several minutes when they were interrupted by a bushy-haired girl with large front teeth.

"You haven't seen a toad, have you? A boy named Neville has lost one." The three of them shook their heads and she left.

Y/n began laughing once the girl had left. "What?" Ron asked turning as red as his hair. "Ron, I believe you fancy her." y/n said, while she continued laughing. "I do not!" Ron's face turned to a red/violet color. 

Harry and y/n began laughing at their friend. "We better change into our robes," Y/n said once she had composed herself.

After the first years had been sorted, Professor Dumbledore had spoked the entire school began eating. While they ate Harry and y/n talked and laughed. 

The two became very close after that

After Christmas break, Harry told Ron that he wanted to ask Y/n on a date. When she had returned Harry started acting nervous. Every time she asked him about it he would laugh and shake it off.

A week after her return to Hogwarts, y/n woke up to the sound of something pecking a window. She walked over and saw that Hedwig was the one making the noise. She opened the window and Harry's owl dropped a letter in her lap.

Y/n opened the note that said;

Ms. (n/n),

Please come to the Astronomy tower at midnight.

Y/n smiled and grabbed her shoes before walking to the Astronomy, making sure to hide from Mrs. Norris and Mr. Filch. She climbed the ladder and opened the trap door to the Astronomy tower.

The tower had rose petals littering the floor and candles floating around. In the center of the room stood Harry. Y/n strode over to him with a puzzled face.

Harry cleared his throat, trying to hide his shaking hands. "Y/n, w-will you go out with me?" Harry asked, studdering. Y/n smiled and said "Yes!" Harry grabbed her waist and pulled her close to him. The two kissed passionately.
