The next morning was absolute hell. Angel and I woke up to the loud pounding on the door. My wife looked at me and simply said, "Babe, the city must need its hero." I looked at her and gave her a kiss. Putting on my shirt, I walked to the door and opened it. Standing uncomfortably, Constantine, one of the representatives of the northern section, looked at me with the most appalled face. He said to me, "Jackson, we got a problem. You better grab your gun incase." "What is going on Constantine?", I asked right after he stated the necessity of a gun. Constantine looked at me and said, "The Exonauts are putting a fence up between the southern and northern part of the city. Ean talked to their leader and has been given power over the southern section." This was the worst news we could have received.

Our extremist friend was going to run his people into the ground. Additionally, he was going to mess up the economy between both sides of the city which could lead to complete destruction of our nearly perfect society. Looking back at my wife, she had quickly put some pajamas back on and I understood what she was feeling. Rogue people turn into complete savages and eventually into a war which I would have to fight. More importantly, we were going to have a kid in roughly eight months, and that kid needs to be brought into a safe world.

We walked back up to our room and had a conversation while I got dressed. "We cannot let our kid grow up in a city that is divided. This isn't good for us." said my wife. I told her, "It isn't good for any of us. I don't want to be apart of this, but I am the guy who is the leader on this side of the wall." "But we need to make sure this kid is safe and I want you safe. I don't need you dying from these idiots," my wife said expressing a worried face. I put my shirt on and held her closely, quietly saying, "We will be okay. Our family will be okay. Don't worry love." She looked up at me and walked into the bathroom, locking the door behind her. I had never seen her so upset in my life. I wanted to stay home and comfort her, but the people of my city needed me. Walking down the stairs, I grabbed my Glock from the table and walked out of the house. Constantine and I walked down to his car and drove to the wall.

Approaching the wall, I was quite amazed. Within one day, there was two walls made of the same material the tower was made out of which was a new compound created by the government. The tower where every person comes out from testing sat between the two walls, reminding people that the separation was aided by the Exonaut project. Gerald pulled the car up next to the wall, parking within ten feet of a door leading up to the top of the wall. It had became clear, we were two nations, ready to go to war at any moment. I felt like a general overlooking the enemy, watching their every move. Not only was I watching Ean's city, but I was watching the Exonaut guards push more and more men through the gates of Ean's dominion. It had become abundantly clear that the leader of the Exonaut society had become intrigued by Ean and his totalitarian government preference. Murmurs filled the air from the gate sitting below me where Bill and many other people watched patiently as the newcomers were being forced into oblivion. We watched for nearly thirty minutes as people were transported up the spire and into Ean's side of the wall. Then a little girl walking with a guard looked up at me as they approached our gate. The small child was afraid, but the gentle citizens of my city were calm and brought the girl through the gate. After ensuring the little girl made it through the gates, I look up and saw Ean smiling with his jagged teeth. He then walked away in triumph, and I stood angrily looking at his third world country that he had created.
