Chapter 6

"Why'd Hayden tag Johnny on your post" Lauren questioned very confused "no idea they're probably just being boys" I replied as we got ready to leave the house. "Maybe he likes you" Annie teased "no way" I said "he's got a girlfriend Annie" Lauren said obviously bothers by us talking about her brother.
We started walking to jacks house it wasn't very far of a walk before you could hear the music.
We finally arrived at Jacks house. It was so loud I knew I was going to get a headache. We saw maddie right when we walked in she was surrounded by people dancing and drinking. As we got to the kitchen Annie and lauren said they were gonna go look around for people. "Okay I'm gonna try to find some water" I said yelling over the music so they could hear. I was looking around for cups so I could get a drink but I could only find used ones. "Looking for a drink" a boy said behind me. "yeah I just want some water" I said turning around to the person who approached me. It was Johnny. He was wearing his jersey and a backwards hat. "Oh hey Johnny" I said greeting him. "So she can run and she can dress nice" he said smirking at me. " haha ur sister did this" I replied blushing at the compliment. "So did u see the game?" He asked "yeah nice shot at the end there" I said to him opening cupboards looking for a cup. I found a couple of cups at the top shelf of the Cupboard. "Here lemme grab that for you" he said reaching over me and grabbing a cup. "Thanks" I replied. He handed me the cup "only water tonight?" Yeah I said gotta train tmrw I answered. "Me too" he said surprising me. I thought he was forsure drinking but I guess it was just water. "I'm just grabbing a drink for soph" he said reaching for a cooler. " ahh back togther" I questioned "unfortunately I'm taken" he said as he winked and walked away.

He's really different than I thought. I walked around trying to find Annie and Lauren in the croweded house of people screaming. Jack was rich he had a huge house but our whole school had to be here, there was barley any room to walk. I wondered up to the upstairs hoping I could find Annie and lauren but I bumped into Hayden. "Aye Kenzie, I got a question" he said clearly drunk out of his mind. "Your friend Annie, she single?" He said stumbling. "Yeah she is" I replied laughing at him drunk dancing "I'm actually looking for her lmk if you see her" I said he noded "sick I'm gonna ask her to dance" he said yelling as he walked away down the stairs. I heard some yelling over the music "AGAIN REALLY? At my party?" Johnny walked out of the room leaving Sophia standing there with a boy named Asher who went to our school. "Sophia was really pretty every boy was all over her" it's probably why she always cheated on people. "Sophia that's it we're done!" Johnny said walking away clearly mad. Sophia stormed after him. I felt bed Johnny definitely didn't deserve the treatment he got from Sophia.
I found Annie and Lauren and danced with them. Hayden was there dancing with Annie too. We finally went home from the party we all slept at Annie's because it was super late to go home. Although I couldn't fall asleep all I thought about was Johnny and how he must feel.
