Junior Year : A Jenzie Story

Chapter 16

                        — JOHNNYS POV—
Kenzie walked into my house and I was shocked to see her. She was wearing a really cute outfit and just somehow looked perfect but i had been hanging around with Emily there last few days so I never really got a chance to talk to kenz. She looked to upset I just wanted to go up to her but she looked at me like she didn't even know me. I rode to the forest with Hayden and Emily and all of our friends but I couldn't stop thinking about how sad Kenzie was. When we got to the campfire I was hoping to get away from Emily for a bit so I could talk to kenz but then there was limited chairs so Emily had to sit on my lap.
When kenz Annie and my sister arrived they sat across from me and I was looking at kenz she again looked so sad. I wished Emily wasn't on my lap so I could get a chance to talk to her. Hayden passed her a drink which I was really concerned about. I remembered at the party Kenzie told me she didn't drink so I thought it was really weird she accepted Hayden's drink.
We were playing a couple rounds of truth or dare and Emily was dared to give me a lap dance It was good but I felt so bad kenzi had to see it. " Hayden I'm getting you back for that." Emily said as she thought what to dare him. " I dare you to kiss a girl that's not Annie" she said laughing. It was kinda rude she did that. Annie stood up form her chair.

                         — KENZIES POV—

Emily had a turn to dare someone so she dared Hayden to kiss another girl which totally wasn't cool. I knew Annie was mad cause she looked over to me and stood up. I knew she was about to put her in her place.
"Excuse me, who tf do you think you are asking Hayden to kiss another girl" Annie said standing up. Emily stood up too "girl Hayden. Doesn't want someone like you.."  Emily said to Annie. I was getting mad no one talked to Annie like that. "and who tf do you think you are talking to Annie like that. Who tf died and made u Queen" I said quickly regretting it. I had clearly drank to much, I was never mean "Obviously Johnny did when he picked me over you hunny" she said to me. I stood there for a second, shocked by what she had said and looked at Johnny waiting for him to defend me. He looked at me for a couple mins and then looked away. He wasn't going to say anything.I couldn't believe that he didn't care. I brushed it off though it was whatever but it kinda did bother me.
Everyone started going down to the beach to watch the sun set. As we were walking down to the beach someone came up behind me. They wrapped their hands around my neck hugging me from behind. I turned around to see Johnny. I was pissed at him still but he always did stuff that could make me smile no matter how mad I was. "Last one to the guard chair is a loser" Johnny said laughing and running past me. I laughed and chased after him. I tried to catch him but he beat me by a step. "Totally not fair you had a head start and you're not drunk" I said. "Still won" he smiled. "What's my prize?" He said looking at me. "Idk maybe Emily can help you with that" I replied remembering what happens before this.
"I'm sorry Ziegler, idk why I let her do that" he said his smile turning to a frown. "It's fine but you owe me" I said

My friends always told me I would let people walk all over me. I shouldn't of taken Johnny's apologize after he hurt me. But deep down I just really wanted it to go back to normal...
