Allison POV

"What do we you need to talk about?"

"How about you have a seat," he motioned his hand towards the chair across from him,

Looking around to make sure no one was eavesdropping, I leaned in forward, glaring into Hussain's eyes, "Are you stalking me? Because I swear to God—"

Pulling the plate with the pancakes closer to him, he took a sip from his drink, lubricating his dry lips,

"Don't be ridiculous Allison, you know who I am, so you must know I rather do something less absurd than stalking you," Hussain gazed at me, "And thanks to Mildred—" he smiled, whispering through clenched teeth waving vigorously to someone— probably Mildred, behind me, "I know what's your favorite dish on the menu, such a sweet lady isn't she? But please— don't let me eat alone,"

Not taking my eye off him, I sat slowly in the empty chair next to me, I don't know what he was up to, but I can tell it was no good. Watching him squeezing the small packets of syrup on the plate, slicing through the pancakes with the small bread knife, folding piece after piece, burying each bite in his mouth. This was an uncomfortable situation for me, I don't know if he could tell but I usually don't ever see the men I hooked up with the night before, sometimes I don't even remember their names, but here am I having breakfast with the most recent one.

"Listen— I don't know what this is or why you're here, but I need to get back the work,"

"Have you tried these pancakes?" Hussain ignored me, "They taste— heavenly,"

"Ok," I shook my head, "That's it," rising to my feet,

"Your friend, Toni ann... She told me you're seeking employment in my firm," He spoke too loudly earning stares from the cashier,

"Keep your voice down," I shouted in a whisper, looking back at the busy crowd,

"Then take a seat... Let's talk business,"

"Listen— I am not about to sit here and watch you eat like a starved dog, I have better things to do,"

"Like what Parker, mop floors and wipe tabletops?" He taunted me,

"Not because you're a billionaire and the CEO of— some company, makes you the CEO for anywhere else—or me,"

"Come on baby girl, everyone has a price, with the right offer this place could easily be mine," he smirked, sipping a mouthful of orange juice,

Toni ann was right, he was an arrogant asshole, who enjoys making fun out of others' misfortunes. He proved to me that even the rich can be poor in certain areas of life because money can't buy integrity.

"What is it with you men? Are you here to tease me? should I be proud that I fucked an insensitive asshole like you? Well, I don't care, you're not the first,"

His wide grin dissolved into a small frown, no longer amused by his behavior,
"I— am sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, and honestly... that's why I am here, we can't speak about it in public, and I already have spent too much time here, soon this place will be surrounded with paparazzi... but if you could swing by my office at lunch... Its will would great,"

"Why?" I narrowed my eyes, glaring at him,

"As I said—" he rose to his feet, "it's— susceptible and I rather talk about it at my office, at least there I won't have any one monitoring me," he gave a faint smile, nodding at someone behind me,

Behind the counters Venice quickly looked away, pretending to be fixing the coffee machine, my coworkers too was acting like they were busy with other things, obviously, they knew who he is, and will probably want to know the reason why he was here, fondling through his wallet, Hussain pulled out two hundred dollar bills, tucking them neatly under his half glass of orange juice,
