Chapter 8: Instinct

"Well were going to leave you two alone after all I know he's safe since he risked his life to the vampires from what Eris said." Raven speaks. "Just to let you know we tried getting to you the supposed leader fought us the whole time to stay in the purified land." He looks at me and Felix did also. They left.

Isabel gets up. "Yeah I'm going to make you something to eat after all you both should be really hungry. Thank you for saving Isha we all really appreciate it." She peaks Kaydan on the cheek then retreats.

I lay down on the porch looking up at the sky peeking at Kaydan every once in a while. I'm glad Eamon hasn't really had anything to do with me anymore because of Cindy. At least he is safe. Kaydan sighs then lies down next to me. "I have a question aren't you tired from shooting those arrows?"

I look at him. "Of course I am it's not as strenuous as what you had to do though. You kept us from getting to the drop off. So I thank you for saving me." If there's roses nearby my cheeks would match the pink ones. Darn it why did I have to see him with his shirt off my head keeps getting foggy I'm so confused! Maybe closing my eyes might help for a little bit.

Later in the day...

Eh! I feel asleep and no one woke me up! I sit up quickly huh I'm in my bed. Still in same clothes but in my bed I touch my bed ummmm... that isn't my bed.... My face red. He slept in my bed again. I look down yep he definitely did Kaydan sleeping on the towel snuggling me.

Wait Cindy was spending the night in here I look over at the other bed I sigh in relief when I didn't spot her. I lay back down. A lot has happened. I wonder why mom's letting Kaydan sleep in my room.

He snuggles me closer and wraps his arm around my waist and his face on my neck I can feel is breathing between my breasts so u-uncomfortable. Now I have full red roses on my cheeks. Nya! Stop taunting me!

He moves a little bit and his face rubs my neck then he watches me for a bit his eyes tingeing animal like. I swallow and look away from him. I can't look at him in the eyes if I do I would be cheating on Eamon. Little alone him in my bed is bad enough..... He kisses me on the cheek gets up strolls out of my room. I calm down.

Kaydan hasn't come back and it's been ten minutes I guess I can get up and change clothes. I get up go through my drawers find clothes I want start undressing then put on the new clothes. I'm glad I'm almost completely dressed only a shirt off because Kaydan just walks in with me in the middle of putting my shirt on. I am so glad I wasn't dressing for night time since I don't wear a bra to bed sighs. He looks immediately away until I'm done.

I pick up my dirty clothes put them in the hamper. Kaydan looks down. "I'm sorry for barging in I should have knocked.. I just figured you would have still been in bed..." He puts food down on my bed then looks up. "I'll just go now and leave you... alone." He's blushing trying to avoid eye contact.

"It's okay it wasn't really your fault it was mine for not locking the door." I flush a tiny bit knowing it was my fault. When I walk closer he backs up did I do something wrong? I try to touch him.

"I'm sorry but I have to go! Your mom wanted some help with something and I said I would." He quickly scurries away.

I sigh sitting on my bed. I did something didn't i? Well I can't do anything about it with an empty stomach. I eat my food and about to go take the plate back when my cell phone rings Eamon...

I sit back down. He's called 5 times. I take a deep breath and call him back. I have to tell him we can't see each other anymore it's for his safety I have to I can't have him getting hurt because of me..

He answers. "Hey baby... we have, to talk." There's something wrong in his voice.

"What's wrong?" I ask concerned.
