Chapter 4: Surprise

Yeah I'm sure you are glad about that. Oh well. *knock knock* I look at the door then Isabel. I eye her. She sighs and gets up pouting then moves the dresser back where it is suppose to. I'm glad you will help me since you moved it in the first place. She hops back in my bed snuggling it. *sighs* She can be ridiculous some times.

I open the door. Mom's boyfriend standing annoyed he had to wait. I'm sorry but I don't feel sorry for you because you only waited a few seconds. I walk over and sit on the bed Isabel snuggling me. He walks in and closes the door.

"You do anything that makes her mom come home earlier than planned you aren't going to like it." He growls. He eyes me.

Mom doesn't even knock on the door she barges in like normal. She looks at him then me to see if everything is okay. She notices Isabel and laughs. Thanks mom.

"So I see Izzy is here also well hmmm... maybe I should stay anyway you asked me last minute and..." There goes mom. She keeps looking around thinking. Her boyfriend glaring at me and sending eye daggers it's not like I'm going to tell her go! Oh heck no. I have too many problems myself.

"I'm sure the girls will be fine. All the boys will be at the academy." He tries to clarify to get mom to go.

She looks at him. "..." "The boys can stay here they all know each other and if anything happens they can make sure my baby girl is okay." -_- Seriously mom!? Great I was hoping Felix would be sent away it's hard with him around but mom does have a point. Cindy's eyes grew big. Yep she is in shock me I'm just annoyed. Even moms boyfriend is caught off guard.

Mom clears her throat. "Well since Felix, Raven, and Connor are here they will actually get this room and the other one and you girls will be in my room." *blink blink blink* Ummm... okay? I don't see the issue with them three sharing a room it would be two sleeping together like me and Izzy. Whatever mom's choice.

"Okay." We all three say. It most likely won't stay like that when they leave but oh well mom doesn't need to know about that. I smile.

"So when are you going to be back?" I ask.

"Well the trip is supposed to be 2 weeks about 14 days but I'm going to come home a week earlier." Mom looks at Izzy and Izzy hugs her while her boyfriend looks pissed. Well looks like things do go the way you planned. Keep glaring at me mom will notice sooner or later then she will be pissed at you.

"Okay so is there a reason for it?" I tilt my head to the side while staring at Izzy. Weird girl today. Her boyfriend eyes me and raises his eyebrow I take a peek at Cindy and she looks afraid.

"Of course there is sweetie." She grins.

Izzy pipes in. "She forgets every time." Then laughs at me.

-_- I forget what??? What did I forget this time? Yep I'm looking clueless. "Just make sure she doesn't get in to anything okay Izzy?" She nods.

"I promise I'll make sure she is good."

*blinks* I still don't get it. What are they talking about this time? I feel like my brain is being fried. *sighs* Completely hopeless. Cindy's brother glares at me more and more when mom looks away from him. Izzy is lost talking to mom in their own little world and me well I'm still trying to figure out what they are talking about to know what I forgot.

Now that I think about it I don't even know what day it is.... Wait a minute where did my calendar disappear to...? Did I misplace it? When I wrote down Eamon's birthday. Heh heh I'm still sitting here clueless and they are grinning. I'm about to open my mouth when they speak.

"Sorry it's a secret you will find out a week from today." They both wink at me and giggle. Mom's being a total girly girl kind of cute. It's almost like how she was before dad's death...

"Okay." Mom hugs Isabel and kisses her on the cheek.

Then mom kisses me on the cheek. "Goodbye sweetie I'll see you soon!" She smiles and grabs her boyfriend who keeps glaring at me when she doesn't look.

Izzy plops herself down on the bed and grins at me. "Still thinking aren't you?" I look at her. Should I pretend to know...? Probably not.

*sighs* "No. By the way did you steal my calendar?" She does the shocked look and appalled at the same time.

"Why would you think I would do that?"

"Hmmm... don't know because you did that the last time mom did a surprise party since I had good grades. It's not for my grades again is it?" Why would everyone like surprise I'm coming here to spend some time with you?

She laughs hard and rolls around on the floor. "I can't believe you would think that." She continues laughing until her stomach hurts.

Well I still don't know what it is. *sighs and lays down on my bed* I'll figure it out sooner or later. Or one of the guys might spill the beans. I'm about to get up when Izz jumps me. "Where do you think you are going? Hmmmm....?" Ahh! I can't believe she caught on so quickly.

Cindy's POV: 

Even though I'm out of the pack I still can communicate with my brothers mentally because we are family. Plus my brother that is with Isha's mom is the leader so it doesn't make my life easier. There are things we can keep from each other.

Find out why her mom is coming home early. I want to get things situated with her mom and she is standing in my way. 

You mean sitting in your way brother...

Don't you even start with me. He growls.

Sorry. I say smartly back I hate when he growls at me.

"So what is it that you and her mom are hiding from her?"

She grins and strides over to me after she moves Isha's dresser in front of the door again.

She whispers. "It's a surprise party for her but I'm not going to tell you what otherwise she will try to find out." She grins and goes through Isha's clothes.

Great that didn't help me much.

So did you find out why yet? He growls impatiently.

The only thing I know is it is a surprise party. That is what her friend told me. You know you could ask your girlfriend I'm sure she will be happy to tell you brother.

How many times do I have to tell you! You DO NOT refer to me as brother YOU REFER TO ME AS ALPHA or LEADER. His growl gets deadly.

SORRY!! I yelp mentally.

He closes the connection completely. Looks like he is mad at me again. Oh well... How am I supposed to get Eamon with Isha here. Ulghhh this is killing me slowly. Yes I'm inpatient it's not every year I turn 16 and able to completely tell if he is my mate or not!
