Woods

Facing the endless path running through the woods, she followed it looking around but only seing trees everywhere. She enjoyed the peace she got while she was walking through the woods. That megical feeling of being close to nature, hearing the wind silently dancing around the trees, listening to the beautiful melodies of birds in every color possible singing and of course perceiving the different smells like wood and enjoing the fresh air.

Her house was build right next to the woods which she visited every day, no matter if it was raining, snowing or even storming. She was not even afraid to go into the woods at night because she knew, she was protected. She could not tell by who exactly, but she knew that she did in fact follow someone into the woods everytime she took a step out of her backyard, looking over to the fence with the small gate, placed between many beautiful roses showing off their whole beauty and their many shades of reds, whites and the beautiful light pinks. The gate itself was covered in a wisteria sinensis. Her garden itself seemed like its only fairytale. But the woods that were behind this gate were way more magical and had their own kind of mysterious life that you, as a normal person, could never nearly understand. She was always close to nature and she treated it with love, respect and she appreciated all the little things nature gave back to her for her graceful and kind personality. Additionally, she did in fact knew that her connection to these small, somehow living creatures was a deep connection not many people could achieve. You needed to be clean. Not depending on any useless drug use. Your soul needed to be clean. Your mind free, not like the most minds thinking of useless things that would never matter in the end. She was free from all of that. She did not deal with the poisoned minds.

And at this moment, while she was walking on the path, leading her deeper and deeper into the woods, she finally understood. She understood why she ever came here. She finally understood the reason why she was the chosen one to feel them calling her to follow the natural curse of an even deeper connection that she could only achieve if she became one with nature.

And today was in fact the day. She knew that today she would be the one leaving her house, returning to her forever home. As she followed the path deeper into the woods as she ever went, it stopped. She was facing the freedom. A mixture of warm and cold wind stroke her lightly red stained cheeks. She looked down the cliff with her beautiful, green glowing eyes and she felt the huge urge to finally become what she always wanted to achieve. She was the soul of these woods, screaming after her so that she would finally return home, protecting the never ending forrests. Slowly she took small steps until she was standing right in front of the edge. She felt the warmth of the sun shining on her face, showing of her freckles better than ever. Now that she was so close to being home, she decided to actually arrive there. By closing her eyes slowly, she bended over the cliff and just let go. She did not even feel like falling. It was more like a gentle greeting by the wind welcoming her back home.

For the last time she looked into the blue sky covered with some white clouds and she woke up.

She sat up from her bed and looked straight up to the window, feeling frustrated. The sky outside was not blue, not even covered with white clouds. The sun was not shining either. She just sat there staring out, looking at a grey sky and raindrops knocking on her window. Her face was not sunkissed or as beautiful as in her dreams. It was pale. Tired, not because she did not get enough sleep, but tired of life she slowly got up. Looking at her own, really slim silhouette showing off in her reflection. She did not want to be here. She did not want to be one of those who had a poisoned mind.

She threw her old, black coat over that she saved from her mother before she could throw away her father's last clothes. And now, for the last time she opened the old door that leaded into her dark apartmend. Taking a last look into this apartment- She could still feel her own pain being hold in there against her will, just like a bird sitting in its cage all alone, staring at its own reflection every single day, expected to sing. Her soul did not feel free in here.

She turned around, walking up the stairs to the rooftop of the skyscraper, watching over the dark sky and the many more buildings filled with souls. She walked over to the edge and closed her eyes. She did not feel the warm wind stroking her cheeks or the warmth of the sun hugging her with their love, she only felt the cold. She felt the wind pushing against her body like it wanted her to stay in this dark colored world. But this time, she would not let it take her decision over.

And again she bended over, letting go the poisoned, horrible life she had to deal with. This time the wind did not welcomed her warmly, she could feel the cold stinging. But before she could feel her body hitting the ground, she was gone.

Finally, she was free-
