"You want to go somewhere today?" Jay asked me on FaceTime.

I decided to give Jay a chance. Honestly whats the worst that could happen? He seems like a good person and I love his effort. Also he's very nice and knows how to treat a girl.

"Umm yea we can" I replied back.

"Ight where you wanna go?"

"We can meet at the mall" I proposed.

"Ok I'll be there in bout 30" he said.

I said ok and hung up the phone and went straight to my closet to pick something out. Since it's always hot in Houston, I decided on a black and red graphic shirt with some black jean shorts and my Bred 1s.

After I got dressed I went to do my hair and then grabbed my purse and keys.

"Ma I'm going to the mall with Makayla" I lied.

I didn't want to tell her I was going with a boy because I didn't want her to know about Jay yet until we were serious about our relationship. Right now we were just talking and vibing.

"Okay be safe"

"I will" I said walking out of the front door.

I got in the car, started it up, and went to my playlist and headed for the mall.

"You like this" I asked Jay holding up a skirt.

Me and Jay met up with each other  and we were now in H&M.

"Yea that's cute but where you wearing that to" he asked with one eyebrow raised.

"Idk honestly" I said putting it back.

"You hungry" Jay asked me.

"A little. I want some Chick-fil-A"

"Ight let's go" he said.

We walked to Chick-fil-A and waiting in line. This girl was staring me down with 2 girls on the side of her like they were her guards. She then whispered something to the girl on the right then looked back at me.

Ion know who tf she staring at like that?

I decided not to pay the girl any attention and proceeded to move up in the line and soon ordered my food.

After we ordered and Jay payed for everything, which I was lowkey mad about because I don't like people paying for me, we sat down at a table and ate.

We finished eating and by then I was ready to go.

"I'm ready to go" I told Jay.

"We can leave if you want to" Jay said. "You tryna go back to my crib?"

"I guess" I hesitated.

"Bet. Just follow me" he said.

After 20 minutes we got to his house. He didn't live far from the mall at all.

I followed jay inside.

"Mama this Deja" Jay told his mom who was sitting on the couch in the living room watching tv.

Wowww I did not think I was going to get introduced this early. We just started talking gd.

"Hey Deja" she got up to hug me.

"Hey" I smiled and waved.

"So this who Jay been telling me about. It's so good to finally meet you." She said smiling.

Ohh this boy been telling his momma about me.

I just smiled.

"Well I'm Mrs. Trina"

"Nice to meet you too mrs. Trina" I said.

"Ight ma" Jay said tryna ruin the moment.

I then followed him upstairs to his room.

"You wanna watch a movie?" Jay asked.

"We can"

I got into the bed with Jay and he laid on me.

Dangg big baby.

"Lemme see yo phone so I can post some" I said.

He gave me his phone without no hesitation and without looking away from the tv. I went on Instagram and took a picture of us without showing my face and put it on his Instagram story.

No face no case aahhtttt.

After I posted our picture, something told me to go look at people's stories on his Instagram. After a few clicks, I seen a video of me and Jay from when we were in the mall earlier today and the caption was "I see people move on quick". I screenshotted and airdropped it to myself before telling Jay.

"Jay who is this" I asked sternly.

"Broooo what is thisssss" he dragged. "This my ex Kierra, I ain't even see her at the mall today"

"It was a girl that was mean mugging the crap outta me today while we were in the Chick-fil-A line" I confessed. "This must be her"

"Don't worry bout it. We straight" Jay said. "Imma handle it"

I brushed it off and me and Jay proceeded to watch love and basketball. After the movie, Jay got on the game and was just on my phone.

"It's getting late Jay, imma finna head out" I told him.

"Lemme walk you to the door"

We walked downstairs, I said my goodbyes to his mom and then we said our goodbyes.

As soon as I got in the car I got a text from Jay.

I had fun with you today. I really enjoy being around you.

The feelings are mutual

I started my car and went home, overthinking about what happened with Jay's ex.

She still likes him.
