(17) Just Making Sure

Logan POV

We were all in the mind palace's living when Virgil randomly asks me, "Hey Logan, what's your type?" I look at him for a second and back to the book I was reading, "Someone who can keep up with me intellectually and who is good at at debates. In fact, someone who would debate with me for fun . And, most likely, someone cute, dumb and whose favorite holiday is Halloween." I answer flipping a page in my book, he laughs a little, "That sounds like me. To bad I'm not cute.", there was a moment of silence, "Did I also mention dumb?" I ask, knowing I did but making sure if he heard that part, "Yeah." he answers, "Okay, just making sure." I say continuing to read my book, "Wait, so what does that have to do with being cute?" he asks, "I'm saying you're dumb because you think you're not cute. That is a lie." I answer, sinking down to my room, "Wait a minute-". 

When I came into my room I sat on my desk chair and kept reading my book, well until I heard a knock on door. I knew who it was, "Come in, Virgil." I say continuing reading, he opens the door, "How do you-never mind, but uh, you didn't mean that right?" he asks, I clearly knew what he was talking about, "Oh that, yes I do mean that, Virgil. According to the feelings I have when I am around you, I'm in love with you, Virgil." I answer, putting my book down on my desk. "Seriously?" he asks thinking it's some kind of prank, "Yes, Virgil. Seriously." I answer standing up from the desk chair, he walks towards me, a little closer than usual. We just stare at each other for moment in silence, until I break it, "Can I?" I ask, not a complete question but he understood because he nodded, I start to close gap but he finishes it off and before we knew we were kissing, when we let go he said, "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do this." we kiss again, and before we were about to end the kiss my door opened, Roman and Patton were there, both with a surprised look on there faces, after a second we ended the kiss, Virgil was kinda anxious so he putted his hood up hiding the blush, I can't lie when I say it's one of the most adorable things I ever saw, I kinda wished I had my phone with me at the moment but I didn't. "What?" I ask, "I was gonna say lunch's ready but uh bye!" Roman says, running back down to the living room, Patton followed with a huge grin on his face. "Well uh we could continue this later, we should probably go and eat." I say straightening my tie, "Uh yeah probably." he says still a anxious, "Can we probably eat in here though? I kinda don't want to answer any questions from them." he says, "Sure." I answer and then we sink down into the kitchen.
