Amelies pov
I was sitting in my family's books shop just reading my book. Today was saturday and the weekends are pretty slow. Ever since the pandemic hit things have gone up and down. People come in most days and then we don't have anyone for days.

"amelie. me and your dad will be back at 9 so close up at 8 and then go to the apartment" My mom said hugging me.

"okay will do" I said and they left.

i look at the clock and it's only 3 "fuck" I mumbled.

I go back to reading my book trying to pass time.

Jade walked down the sidewalk of a street that had small little shops on it. She had her black cloth mask on and a beanie. She looked like she would be the one to shop lift,but she's not.

A small little book store caught her eye and she looked through window displays. She shrugged and walked in,the little bell going off.

She noticed a brunette girl with glasses and a sage green mask reading a book. She thought she was stunning.

She walked around looking for a book she could read while she was at home in her little apartment.

She settled on 'Little women' She walked to the register where the girl was. She was determined to get her number or at least a night with her.

"did you find anything good?" The girl asked Jade.

"yeah I did, so what are you reading?" Jade asked. She wasn't a big book worm so she didn't know what to ask.

"uh Call me by your name" The girl said and pushed her glasses up and scanned the book.

"oh cool i've seen the movie" Jade smiled and Amelie giggled.

"so could I maybe get your name and possible your number?" Jade tried to make that sound as smooth as possible.

"i-i guess" Amelie blushed and wrote her number on a paper. "I'm Amelie" She said passing Jade the paper.

"pretty name for a pretty girl. I'm Jade" and with that Jade winked and left. Amelie sat there trying to take in what the hell just happened to her.

Amelie always kinda knew she was into girls,but she always too nervous to talk to them. She didn't talk to guys either because she found them scary.

she locked up the store,and went upstairs to the apartment. It was fairly big,but still small and cozy. She went to her bedroom and did her nightly routine.

after she got out of the shower she looked at the clock. "7:45" She sighed. She didn't know if she was hungry or not,so she got some yogurt and made some tea.She got to her bed and turned on some netflix.

She sat there looking at the small pice of paper that Jade had gave her.She pulled out her phone and sent the message. "hey it's the girl from the bookstore" was all she said.

she waited for a few minutes until her screen lit up. "hey cutie" she read. She smiled.She had a feeling that Jade was a fuck girl, but it was something.

"i'm bored wanna come over?" Amelie texted.

"yeah, send the address"

"it's the bookstore but the apartment above" Amelie said and Jade liked the message. After a few minutes she heard a knock at the apartment door.

She got up and looked through the small peep hole. "hey" Amelie said quietly.

"hey boo" Jade said and walked in.

"so wanna watch netflix or something?" Amelie asked Jade.

"How about this" Jade leaned in and kissed Amelie softly.

"fuck my room now" Amelie muttered...
