hair troubles

Avani was sitting in her bathroom struggling with her hair. She never really knew how to handle her hair, it was too frizzy sometimes and some curls would be too wavy to be curly. Her girlfriend, Luna, always had the prettiest curls. She had 4c hair but it always looked nice. Avani envied her hair but of course she would never say that to her.

"hey vani" Luna giggled from the screen.

"hey" Avani whispered. She was now frustrated with her hair.

"you okay bub?" Luna asked. She knew Avani struggled with her hair, she just felt like if she ever said anything that Avani would get mad.

"yeah i guess... no my hair is just fucking up no matter what I do!" She exclaimed and sat her head on the counter.

"want me help you? i know we don't have the same curl type or the same texture,but i could help a little. It looks like you have like 2b/2c/3a curl type" Luna said.

"yeah that would, also you should wear more neon colors. they look really good on your dark skin" Avani stared at her beautiful dark girlfriend.

"okay we'll start once you're done staring at me" Luna laughed.

the two started with Avani getting her hair wet and adding a lot of conditioner, then she ran a wide tooth comb through it once she rinsed it out. She got out of the shower and added her products to her hair. she scrunched her hair with a towel,and plopped it.

once she took out the little plop she added the final gel and looked at her hair. She screamed and jumped up and down.

"see it wasn't so hard" Luna laughed at Avani jumping up and down.

"yeah i guess. wanna come over later and then we can get dinner" Avani said looking at Luna who was picking a bag.

"I'd love to,but i have to go get my hair braided. They're gonna look like pop smokes braids." Luna said and showed Avani a picture.

"oh I love those, we can get food tomorrow." Avani said.

"okay my love, i gotta go now. love you" She said.

"love you too" Avani said and hung up.

for the next hour she admired her hair, she also scrolled through tiktok sending a few to Luna.

Luna would respond with tiktoks as well. If one things for sure, Avani always made Luna a little happier when she got hair done and made the braiding process feel shorter.
