"Neito! Neito!" The loud echo of a desperate childs voice called out. Said voice belonging to (Y/N) (L/N) as she raced over and towards a mini Monoma, himself watching as she'd trip over her skirt which her mother most likely forced her into as she'd excitedly rushed into Monomas arms. "I've missed you so much!"

Little Monomas face flushed as he'd stagger backwards from the sudden added body weight as he'd look down at the mess of brown hair which tickled his chin as the (H/C) haired girl refused to let go of the boy.

"(Y/N)" Neito whined, attempting to hide his blushing face as (Y/N) darted her head upwards with no regards for Monomas chin as she'd giddly stare up and at her friend. "You're gripping me too tightly~."

"But I haven't seen you in forever!" (Y/N) attempted to reason as she'd cheerfully giggle, when suddenly the sound of (Y/N)'s mothers voice made its appearance.

"(Y/N) you saw him yesterday at the park, remember?" (M/N) teased the brown haired girl who'd immaturely turned her head away from her mothers words, and instead (Y/N) chose to dig deeper into Monomas shirt.

Said boy awkwardly looked down at her as his blushing face slowly turned into a soft smile as his blue eyes glinted in joy, just like hers did as the twos eyes met one another's. He loved her eyes so much, they were filled with so much joy and child like curiosity, he felt like they show'd a true adventure, one of which he did not want to miss out on.

...

"Hey! Neitos quirk isn't bad! He isn't a thief! He's just using what you have to his advantage!" (Y/N) argued with the group of boys ahead of her, her arms extended outwards and blocking the middle schoolers from getting any closer to Neito Monomas desk.

Monoma had experienced some issues with people, especially when his quirk first made an appearance. He was labelled a copy cat, a wannabe, someone who'd only come second, a B-grade hero, a thief. He'd honestly heard them all at this point, but the only person who ever thought his quirk was cool was (Y/N), and if she liked it, then he supposed he did too.

"Thats cheating, though!" One of the insignificant side characters shouted  out their unneeded opinion. (Y/N)'s eyes narrowed in disbelief and anger as  Monomas light blue eyes could be seen peeking up and around (Y/N)'s arms as he'd dare to face the people who bullied him.

"How old are you? Five? Because from where i'm standing i'd say that it's called tactics!" (Y/N) hissed out her defence, her arm which were previously being held out in a protective manner towards Monoma now pointing into the shirt of the boy ahead of her. "Besides! you're just jealous that his quirk is way cooler than yours! So deal with it, bitch!"

Of course (Y/N)'s foul use of language ended up with her in detention, but when she came out of it, with Monoma having waited for her outside of the classroom, the grin she sent his way was all he needed. She was always going to be there for him, and he swore he'd do the exact same.

...

Except, when Highschool came around, she wasn't there for him anymore, not as much as she had used to be. In fact, Monoma felt the need to curse this damn school called U.A. or really, he should be cursing the guy who'd really took her away from him. That damn ash blonde with a hot temper.

However, he'd try to ignore this feeling to the best of his abilities as he'd take notice of the all too familiar bob of (H/C) hair, himself almost calming down at the sight of her.

"(Y/N)!" Monoma attempted to call out to the (H/C) haired girl who'd confusedly look behind her, her eyes he always admired  looking in his direction as she'd let a small smile cross her face, herself beginning to head towards him, but as she got closer and closer her eyes shown more, and suddenly he felt sick to his core as he watched her shoulder graze past his own.

He hadn't even dared to look behind him, he didn't want to, and yet his body decided to anyways. And there that disgusting sight was, (Y/N) had embraced Bakugo and was smiling up at him.

 Only one line went through Monoams head, almost as if a song on loop as he'd looked at the scene ahead of him;

"I'd say you let me down."
