Memories, that's all Monoma really had. Old memories of him and (Y/N) since he could no longer create new ones with her.

Even when he tried to approach her nowadays it'd only turn south as she'd either ignore him or give him a blunt answer before moving on.

Perhaps she had already forgotten the library of memories he and her had made. Perhaps she had replaced those memories with new ones with herself and Bakugo. Perhaps Monoma really meant nothing to her anymore, maybe all she ever thought about was Bakugo.

'Is that really my purpose? To be replaced by just another person on this stupid planet' Monoma couldn't help but wonder, his eyes squinting down and at his hands which anxiously played with one another. 'Why can't I ever be good enough? Am I forever destined to be second place?'

Every degrading thought felt like a blow to a stomach, he felt sick, worthless, pathetic.

Monomas body shrank into itself, a pit of darkness surrounding him as though thousands of people were staring down at him, detesting him, judging him. Wishing away his existence.

He tried to fight away this feeling, he really did. But the more he tried to fight it, the more of a restriction he felt. There truly was no escape. No one could help him.

Darkness, sorrow, depression, anger. These emotions swirled around him, casting his mind away with no hopes of returning back to normal.

"Please, please don't leave. Please, (Y/N)... I'll be better, I promise, I will." Monoma choked, his body now limp on the covers on his bed as his lungs begged for air. Himself almost torturing him with guilt, making himself believe that it was his fault for where he was right now, and that he deserved to be without (Y/N). "It's not true, stop, stop, stop, stop! (Y/N) come back, come back, come back."

His mouth dried, his throat no longer allowing him to plead anymore. All he could do now was lay there and suffer through the pain.

Meanwhile

(Y/N) bursted out with laughter, heaving in and out heavily as she'd wheezed at the comment Bakugo had made just moments prior to her laughing fit.

"SHUT UP DUMBASS!" Katsuki exclaimed, growling at her laughing form as she'd roll all over his floor, stretching her legs out and onto his desk which contained his schoolwork. "You're messing up my work." Bakugo snarled, grabbing a hold of his pillow and slamming it across (Y/N)'s face, causing it to dart backwards from the force of the blow.

(L/N) snorted, grasping a hold of the pillow that was now on her face and moved it tightly into her chest, savouring the sweet caramel scent it held.

"Why do you smell so good, though? You literally sweat gallons a day." (Y/N) asked, putting the pillow underneath her arm so that she could comfortably turn and lean on it.

"Why do you have to be such a freak?" Bakugo fired back to the girl who pouted, placing her hand onto her chest in offence.

"You're so mean~" (Y/N) whined, blowing a stray hair out of her face as she'd lift herself up once more. Her hands cupping around her mouth as her voice suddenly went up in pitch. "MRS BAKUGOO! YOUR SONS BULLYING ME."

Katsuki quickly sat up from his bed and grasped ahold of (Y/N), pulling her into his chest as he'd mumble in annoyance.

"Stop yelling." He'd mutter to the girl who'd glance up and at Bakugo, quietly examining his suddenly soft features.

"Nice bíceps." (Y/N) randomly teased. Causing the ash blonde to sight to himself, though a smirk couldn't help but to sneak across his features.

"You know it."
