It's been two years since Ava last seen her best friend. Two years since Rosalie killed Royce and his men. She hasn't seen her sister for that long too. Edward kissed his mate's head making her sigh. "Do you think she'll come back?"

"Of course, baby." He said as he turned her to look at him. "Her sister is here and two her best friend is too."

"Edward, do you think Rosalie will be happy when she finally meets her mate?" Ava asked.

"I think she will." He said. "Now get some sleep because it's only 1 in the morning."

Ava leaned up and kissed him teasingly. Edward groaned as he knew she loves teasing. He quickly got the upper hand making Ava squeal in happiness.

The next day, Ava didn't go hunting as she was hungry for human food meaning she was by herself. "Ava." Carlisle said as he walked in. "I see you wanted human food."

"Yep." She said as she looked at her dad. "Daddy, will Hanna be back?"

"I'm sure she will." Carlisle said as he hugged his daughter.

"Carlisle!"

"Ava..."

Ava had done left as she smelt human blood. She went into the woods searching for Edward. She was tackled and fought the person. "Ava?"

"Damn it, Edward." She said. "I thought we agreed to never do that."

"Sorry, baby." Edward said hugging her. "I heard something coming and didn't think twice as I was..."

"In hunting mode." Ava said. "I'm sorry, it's just Rosalie brought a human home and he was bleeding. I had to leave..."

"Okay." Edward tells her. "Come on."

Esme was worried for her daughter after hearing she ran out of the house. She saw her on Edward's back and sighed. "Thank god, you're okay." Esme tells Ava.

"I'm sorry, I just panicked..."

"Ava." Rosalie said as she walked out of the room. "Come meet my mate."

Ava smiled as she skipped into the room to see a big buff guy. "Wow Rose, you got yourself a muscle man."

Rosalie laughed. "His name is Emmett." Edward said as he wrapped his arms around Ava. "He thinks your an angel, Rosalie."

"Aww, his sweet." She said. "I'm going to bed now."

"Come on." Edward said as they walked out.

Ava kissed her mom's cheek than her father. Edward smiled as she grabbed his hand and the two walked upstairs. She kissed him before walking into their room to fall asleep. Edward walked over and laid down beside her as he too acted like he was asleep. It was normal for him to pretend to sleep as Ava made him feel somewhat human.
