early morning yunji found what little motivation she had to go for a run. it was something she didn't do often, and it shows. she was panting heavily, but calmed down by the time she was on the main street.

she was grateful for that, there were so many people. walking around struggling to breathe would be embarrassing.

she opened her camera and tried to see how she looked, behind her she saw joonki. this could be the moment for a new friend, so she took a deep breath and turned around, remembering her therapist.

"hi! you're joonki, right?" he nodded in response, "i'm yunji, we're in one of the same classes, it's nice to meet you."

"yeah, same." he kept a monotone voice.

"so why are you up this early?"

"i just like going for walks, i find it relaxing."

"oh, i get that. sorry if i'm sweaty, i went for a run."

"no, no, it's okay. you don't look bad."

"is that a compliment?"

"i guess?"

"wow, that's crazy..."

"what?"

"you don't seem like the type of person to hand out compliments."

"you're right, but i know a pretty face when i see one."

and that is when yunji started to loose her shit.

"gotta blast!"

she couldn't do that, nope, not today, not when she was meeting seonghwa later. that's exactly why she sprinted away like a dog was chasing her.

joonki laughed at her response.

he mumbled to himself "females are so easy to make flustered" and walked into a store.

yunji had to keep her priorities straight. if he isn't seonghwa she doesn't want him. but they aren't even together, regardless, if there's even a small chance of them being a couple, she wanted to take it.

yunji ran back to her dorm, it was only eleven so she had more than enough time to get ready.

Ok, so I'm meeting him at four, it takes me five minutes to get to the cafe, so I need to leave at like 3:55, but i don't wanna be on time so 3:57. that means i need to start getting ready at 2, yunji thought to herself.

it was now 3:50 and she was supposed to leave soon. yunji has been sitting around for the past 30 minutes because she overestimated how long she would take.

exactly seven minutes past and she walks out the door.

her face showed a smile but inside she had a mix of emotions. was this a date in disguise?

hopefully yes, but she was the one who haded to add "as friends". if anyone should think this is just a hangout it's her.

yunji got to the cafe and saw seonghwa waiting outside, looking handsome as always.

"hey!" she called out, catching his attention.

seonghwa looked her up and down. she looked amazing.

"you look beautiful."
