mihi was headed to hang out with yunji at her dorm.
she had offered for them to not go anywhere and just stay where she was comfortable.

and that was true. yunji could be considered a coffee addict, it wasn't one of her best qualities, but you either hate it or love it.

mihi steps inside and waited in line. when it was her turn, she walked up to the guy behind the register and ordered.

she found him quite attractive and noticed his name tag read: park seonghwa.

"seonghwa, hwaseong, it means—"

"mars." seonghwa finished her sentence.

"well, what your name?" he asked.

"mihi."

he smiles. "your name means beautiful joy, from what i can tell, i'd say it's pretty accurate."

"your order is almost ready, please wait over there."

he smiled, not thinking much of what he said to her.

mihi knocked on yunji's door and was let in.

"look what i brought!" mihi held up the two coffees.

"oh, thank you!"

"you know that new cafe, or whatever, down the street?" yunji nodded, "we should go together sometime."

yunji thought back to what happened and pushed it deep down in her mind. "yeah! good idea, i love going there."

"have you seen the new guy? seonghwa?"

yunji couldn't stop herself from smiling every time she heard his name or thought about him. it's crazy since she hasn't even really had a conversation with him.

"uh, kinda."

"he's hot, right? totally my type."

"did you talk to him?"

"yeah. he was totally whipped for me, even wanted my number. but i turned him down. he has to work harder for it, you know?"

yunji couldn't believe what she was hearing. he wanted to give her his phone number and she declined?

she set down the coffees. "but then, i felt bad so i gave it to him."

yunji looked at her like she was an idiot. something isn't right with this girl. she must be insane. or maybe it's yunji? is she too eager? should she play more hard to get? all these questions now circled her mind endlessly.
