Day broke and Cywren had woken up when the sun's rays pierced through the roof of the sniper's nest.
She felt extremely refreshed and stretched herself awake.
Her hand moved around and felt the makeshift bedding she had spend the night in. It felt like a mixture of plastic and material that was slightly inflated.
Not the most comfy stuff ever, but it made do for the night.
She looked next to her and saw that Timebomb had fallen asleep leaning on the tin wall next to her. That was probably a lot less comfortable than whatever she had slept on.

"Aw, poor thing."

Cywren got up and as slowly, discretely and quietly as possible, moved him from the wall to the bedding.
He must've been pretty tired or deep into sleep, because he didn't stir much and seemed to just accept the fact he was lying down.
She decided to wait until he woke up to move on.
She got up to walk around a little bit. Quasar woke up as he heard her get up and step around, and got up to follow her.

...

Cywren was fiddling around with her Pip-Boy, trying to see if there was anything that could be done without a map chip or if there was anyway to track the radio frequency she'd picked up.
So far, all she was able to do was manually and crudely map out the mountainous area she was in.
A yawn from inside the sniper nest broke her focus on the device and she saw Timebomb starting to awaken.

"'Morning, sleepyhead."

She walked closer to the nest. It then kicked in that her friend had fallen asleep with his red goggles on.

"... What time is it...?"

"It's exactly twelve thirty-four. I guess it's technically noon, not morning."

"Oh, dang... It's late."

"Well, it's fine! I mean, you went out of the way to scout ahead when I was exhausted, and you seemed pretty pooped out yourself, so... You deserve good sleep too."

Timebomb then noticed that he was on the makeshift bedding and he got up off it.

"Uh, uh... Did I- Did I take that from-"

"No, you were actually leaning on the wall. I pushed you onto that when I woke up."

"... Thanks."

"Hey, as you said, anything for you."

Timebomb smiled bashfully and looked down slightly.

"Well, anyways, are you ready to continue on?"

"Uh, yeah, sure."

Timebomb got up and equipped his flamethrower.
Cywren patted his shoulder then looked at her Pip-Boy.

"Okay, so... I've crudely mapped out the area here. I don't think it's super reliable, but it's probably better than nothing."

"Cool. Then let's get going."

"Alright!"

Starting off slowly, the group scaled down the mountain they were on.
They found themselves in a series of canyons. Some that interconnected and others that were cut off by the sheer steepness and size of some of the mountain bases.
The group went in circles a few times, as they were searching for a Vault that could be anywhere.
They stopped a few times for a couple minutes because navigating through mountains like that can be rough on one's legs.
Eventually, after having scaled the bases of a bunch of mountains, a small town built close to the bottom of a cliffside was visible in the distance.
Cywren let out a big sigh of relief and took out a Nuka-Cola from her inventory.

"Finally. Civilization. I need a nice carbonated beverage."

Cywren sat down then finished the soda practically in an instant.
