It's Iris first year at Hogwarts and she is about to board the train. She frantically searched for a spot on the train, that is before it takes off. After searching for a minute or two, she noticed a seat where there was a boy sitting, alone. "Hello, may I sit here?" Iris politely asked. He replied with, "Yes of course." Iris's stomach started to feel nauseous when she saw that boy. She didn't even know his name or anything and already felt some connection with him. "Well what's your name? I'm Cedric....Cedric Diggory." " My name is Iris Pierson, nice to meet you Cedric." They both smiled.
>fast forward to hogwarts<
All of the first years had finally arrived at Hogwarts after a nervous train ride. Minerva Mcgonagall was in the front of the group of first years, calling everyone's names aloud so they could me sorted into there houses. Iris and Cedric stood next to each other. They hadn't left each other since the train ride. Cedric nudged Iris shoulder with his elbow. What house do you think you'll get into?" "Um.....I'm really not to sure. I'm hoping anything but Slytherin" she giggled aloud.
"Cedric Diggory!" Mcgonagall shouted. Cedric nervously walked up to the sorting hat, and Mcgonagall placed it on his head. About 10 seconds passed as the sorting hat thought. Then the hat shouted, "HUFFLEPUFF!" Cedric confidently walked over there. She called a couple of more students, and then Iris. She was also sorted into Hufflepuff. Cedric's face lit up when he heard that.
>fast forward to seventh year<
Cedric and Iris were and have been bestfriends from the moment they met on the train. There now in there seventh year. Cedric and Iris were in there potions class when Iris felt a piece of paper hit her arm. She looked around to see her best friend Ced smiling at her. He had thrown a note at her for her to read. She quietly unfolded the piece of paper.
Meet me at the Hufflepuff common room, I have amazing news.....about my amazing life of course :D

She laughed and looked at him and nodded. Snape saw the note and grabbed it and crumbled it and threw it into the bin. Later that day after all the classes Cedric and Iris met in the common room. "DUDE!" Cedric exclaimed. "WHAT?!"
Iris replied laughing. "I'm gonna get straight to this and you can NOT and I mean NOT get made at me." "Erm...ok?"
Iris questioned him. "I put my name in the Goblet of Fire. Now, I know what your thinking. That I'm a crazy lunatic. No, this is a once in a life time chance and I had to, ya know?" "Oh, wow. I'm happy for you, totally. I just I- I'm very nervous for you. I mean people die in that tournament." Iris replied. "I know, I know. But trust me, I'm gonna make it, I mean I'm Cedric Diggory, c'mon now." They both laughed and then headed off to there dormitory's to sleep.
