Iris' eyes opened to see Cedric sleeping next to her. She took her hand and cupped his face. She was so happy that she could finally call him hers now. Iris felt pretty bad for leaving Cho Chang that night. She had to go apologize. It was only 6 am and Iris knew Cho Chang woke up early so she quickly got dressed and snuck out of the dorm. She made it to Cho's dorm and knocked. Cho answered. "What do you want?!" Cho exclaimed. "Cho...listen to me. I'm so sorry about last night I didn't mean for that to happen, but me and Cedric are together know. I just wanted to apologize. Goodbye now." Iris quickly scrammed she couldn't stand there and see Cho's heart break. She went back to the dorm and woke up Ced.
"Good morning my love." Iris said. "I want to take you somewhere before morning breakfast. So hurry." "Um....ok?" Cedric replied. Cedric got up and got dressed. He came out of the closet and kissed Iris on the forehead. "Well we better get going to wherever you want to take me." "Yes." Iris said giggling. They walked to Hogwarts' Lake. They sat down and skipped rocks and just enjoyed each other's company. "So I wanted to tell you something Ced." "You can tell me anything." He grabbed Iris' hand. "This morning, when you were still asleep, I went to Cho's dorm and apologized to her. I couldn't live with myself after leaving her. "Oh my god. Thank you so much. I didn't want to see her again, I feel to guilty." Cedric said. Iris looked at him in shock and giggled a little. Cedric got up and took his hand out from his pocket. "Let's dance. Since we missed the Yule ball." Iris got up and put her hand on his shoulder and the other one in his hand. They started to slow dance. She rested her head on Cedric's chest, she started to feel his heart pound. She thought it was so adorable when he got nervous. They danced for what felt like an eternity. At 7:30 they went to eat breakfast.
>fast forward to last day before Xmas break<
It was time for most of the students to go home for the holidays. Cedric was going to go back home in London with Iris to her family. Cedric's family had a family emergency. Cedric and Iris boarded the train. When they were seated Iris sat by the window and Ced sat right next to her. As soon as the train started moving Cedric laid his head on Iris. While he slept Iris ate her chocolates, glanced out the window, and read her favorite book. When they arrived Iris' parents were there to pick them up.
