A couple of days had passed since Cedric's death. Hermione had stayed with Iris in her dorm during the long evenings. Iris couldn't bare staying at Hogwarts. She had to leave. After the end of the year Iris wanted a new beginning. She wanted to travel to the one and only USA. She wanted to go to college and pursue her dream job of being an oncologist.
She told her parents what had happened to Ced in a letter the day after it happened. They felt so much sorrow for their daughter. The only boy she had ever felt a special way for, gone. Forever. When she got home from her last year of Hogwarts she told her parents what she was gonna do, and they completely agreed with it. They thought she did need a new beginning. She needed a way to move on. Iris was going to take a plane from her hometown, London, all the way to Washington, USA.

It was now time for Iris to board her plane. She had only been on a plane once, and that was to go on vacation when she was 4. She boarded the plane and flew to Washington. When she boarded the plane she found her seat and saw a girl sitting in the seat next to hers. "Hello!" The lady said. "My name is Jessica. Looks like we will be together on the plane." Iris noticed one thing in particular. She was American. "Yea I guess so haha. My nam is Iris by the way." Iris replied. After the plane took off and every got situated Jessica and Iris began to talk to each other. "So what brought you to England?" Iris asked. "Well I am just on vacation before school starts again." Jessica replied. "Oh nice! What school do you go to?" "University of Washington!" Jessica responded "No way! I'm going to go there right now." Iris said. "Well that's awesome. So why are you going to the states for college?" Jessica asked. "Well my boyfriend just recently passed away and i am just trying to start and new beginning and clear out my mind. Try to move on." "I'm so sorry to hear that Iris. I completely understand."
About a week he passed and it was Iris's first day at the University. It was time for breakfast and everyone had met in the cafeteria. She bumped into Jessica and so she sat with her and her friends. She glance at the door and noticed some people coming in that caught her eye. "Who are they?" Iris asked. "That's the Cullens." Jessica responded. 4 people walked in. 2 boys, 2 girls. Then another tall handsome young boy walked in. "Who is he?" Iris asked. She saw for her very own eyes. Cedric Diggory walked in. Her Cedric walked through the doors. He looked pale as ever. "That's Edward Cullen."
